hi i think this spring clean up turn in thing is really Awesome it helps with lag, it saves us storage which is a great bonus, it gives us some really nice and cool items as rewards, it gives players incentive to fight monsters and stuff that they haven't fought before or in a long time, it gives us reason to try for items that we haven't tried for before or that we haven't tried for in a long time, and gives us a reason to loot some of the items that prior to the clean up that we would just toss or leave on the monsters corpse or on the ground or what have you thus making a lot of things and items more meaningful. so i request that the spring clean up remain a permanent thing so please consider this dev teams thank you. anyone agree or disagree i appreciate your opinions thanks.

NO! Make it a limited time offer only. Npc buy things for gold, the library has a contribution center. Then the world will be over loaded with all of these items that will be worthless in a year. Besides, it is an event. It makes it fun and challenging. If it goes on for too long then it gets boring.

It makes it fun and challenging.
Since when is clicking and dragging repetitively an event, and fun and challenging?

And on-topic, let it last forever, if it doesn't, people will just sell off the rewards for crazy amounts of money.

ummm, vanguards have 5000 points on them. If you want an item you kill them and get what you want. That is part of the event, and its a challenge to kill them to get the points. A majority of my points came from vanguards and the moonglow event.
And the only way they can sale anything for insane amounts of gold is, if someone is willing to pay insane amounts of gold.

Agree if a person goes and stocks up on the items then later trys to sell at huge prices thats their gain. Nothing is stopping anyone from doing the same.

It needs to end. Here is my example. I turned in phase 1-2, event items, plain swords, holiday items, treasure maps, arties, ect, over 300 total that were locked down. Weeeeeeee.

Then phase 3 comes along. I have tribal rewards, legacy stealables, talisims, recepies, ect, and i have more than 300 total,......so i have a net Loss of total free space. Sure, i like the virtue tiles for my castle, but enough is enough. Besides, the Savage Village has stopped trying to fight against me, and they all just lay down and die when they see me coming now....

I think it should happen once in a while but not all the time because you end up trading items for items and in the end you will actually have more items than we started with because people will turn in items that can be obtained continually for reward items until there are to many of the reward items around.

The normal collections take resources out of the game to help keep the economy stimulated these collections are just to remove mass items in a hurry but many of the items cannot be gotten again.

They should keep the collectors that you turn stuff in for points. But they should remove all the items from the reward list and every year or so put some items for a limited time as rewards that people can trade their points that they've been building up to get them. This way the points can be used as a new currecy instead of running out of room to hold checks.

I'd like to see the turn-in's get turned on every year or something like that for say a month at a time..... but each year have the items that are accepted change.... and the points end when the time is up.... so if you don't use your points you lose them... simple as that..... though would like a way to "cash out" your points if you want..... get a voucher for your points that you can sell to someone else instead of having to sell 400 50 point tickets.... be allowed to cash them in and then "cash out" your 20,000 points into one ticket you can sell.... that would be MUCH easier.

I voted yes, but with a stipulation. It should be just for the stuff that always spawns in game that isn't accepted by the other collections, ie the tribal stuff, eggs, power crystals etc. Need to put the shipwreck items on the library collection though. or maybe just move it all over to the library collection as common items for all the collections, like the books and scrolls.

Just my thoughts,

The only thing id like is for them to add steal able artifacts to the library turn in, give thieves a reason to actually steal the lesser items.

They just did the whole thing the wrong way. The current method only causes players to stockpile junk they would normally discard in hopes it will be something to turn in later.

The original Clean Up Britania program introduced trash bins... Why not use them?!

The concept should be to Keep Britania Clean, not make us hoard junk.

All Year Long - Any item dropped into a trash bin earns the character 1 point (a few more for more valuable items, a lot more for artifact quality items) and every few months introduce an NPC who sells things for those accumulated points.

THAT system would reduce clutter. Nothing would be stockpiled because everything not inherantly valuable would go into a trash bin.

And to make it more interesting, every few days, make a day-long bonus point item. One day you might be able to get 5 points for a fish, another you might get 5 for cheese wheels, just any random junk. :)

- Voted Yes, but not in its current form.

Problem is no Vangards currently on Baja...

That being said there are items one can still collect for the turn in. Just stinks having to click on so many items worth 100-250k points (takes forever).

A world of no.

As of now, I've turned in a lot of rare and unique stuff that I didn't necessarily need (Magincia rubble, event items that are no longer spawning, and so on), in order to get what I understand to be other rare stuff that I can use. If you remove the time limit on turn-ins, in a year everyone will have the new armor sets on every character they own, every roof will be covered in beehives, and *poof* it's no longer rare and interesting.

Not that this is a bad thing, IF it is announced at the start of a turn-in. But as they've already given the assurance that this turn-in will end, I made my choices on what I was willing to trade in based on that.

Please don't change it now.

The only thing from the turn-in that last forever is the ability to turn in MIB Prechest Loot, if they add that to the fisherman collector in the Britian Library. His current selection of items, he accepts, really sucks.

I'd like them to use this as inspiration to make the library/zoo/museum system better. An account's totals for all the library npcs and the zoo and museum should all put combined into one donation points total. Those donation points should be redeemable at any of the three places. As it stands right now, it's not worthwhile to start donating to one place or another, because it will take years of normal place to get even one item.

I don't think it should be continually active. Though it would be nice if every year for a short time there was event similar to this with different turn in items and different rewards. Have it only last for a month or two (i.e. spring time).

Just my 2 cents...
