[Bushido] 1-Handed weap with bushido?

I've been back in uo for about 5 months and have been playing around with my sami-paly macer. When I quit a couple yrs ago there was only a small differance between the block % with a 1 hand or 2 handed weap. Is this still true? With the way the nerf bat been swinging..wondering if this was changed.

I dont mind using a 2 hander but using a one hander allowed me to chug pots. (this is a pvm toon btw...I do occasionally pvp with him but it's not something I do often on him) I stoned off his bushido the other night and went back to old school shield paly but honestly it's just annoying. Any info you folks got for me would be apreciated.

There is still only a 5% difference in Parry chance between a 1 hander and a 2 hander. Nothing has changed with that.

For the slightly lower Parry, you can do pot Chugging which is a much greater benefit than the 5% less chance to parry.

didn't you used to be on GL? If so, I remember you. You've been gone a while

I take it your char had both bushido and parry. I hadn't read any nerfs that would effect you, other than the one for evasion, and also the one where low dex effected parry chance (I imagine your dex is over 80 tho). The next nerf to be is the vamp form goes away if your necro skill drops below 99.

ayahuasca... Yes I did play on gl mostly a smith or a macer in brit and later on in haven. I moved to LS a few yrs ago but I played on gl for like 7 yrs.

Kellgory... yea basic pvm template:
120 mace
115 bushido
110 parry
100 tact anat heal
75 chiv
Its a real common template and with a good x healer no need for the sampire set up. Why I always prefered pots to the small parry chance.
