A Titan can blast my ass but I "cannot see the target"??? This is BS! If he (the Titan) can damage me, why can't my pets "see" him??? This is BS!

i get nailed from screens away on my mage it is something to do with screen size i think.
i use a small res but they seem to be in a larger screen size. Monsters use wide screen to play lol...
on a plus i can cast area effect on the very edges of my full screen so i do damage to things off screen 1 spot lol...
Just go to move to line of sight... pain but thats the way it goes.

The pet thing is a bug. I thought they were working on a fix for that.... can't recall if it was supposed to be in the last publish or the next one... but THAT is a bug.....
As for them seeing you around mountians, three and 4 screens away threw walls, above/below floors and anything else where you are "Unable" to see or reach them by spell or by shot that has ALWAYS been and I almost recall them saying that is as intended..... they are monsters and apparently they have X-ray vision and super hearing. So while we can't do anything about them they can sure agro on us. I'm pretty sure I recall one of the Dev's saying something to that effect a few years back. And monsters have a MUCH, MUCH bigger range than we do both spell wise and shot wise as I know I've been shot by a Juka Lord from 2 screens or more away.... guarantee it's much much further than the 10 tiles I get with the same bow.

I do believe awhile ago spell casting mobs were given the ability to cast from further away than normal...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong though!

Your right it was done to help add more challenge to the uber character that his common today...By Uber I mean the effects and benefits of the equipment we use. By having monsters have a longer casting/targeting range it was thought we'd be softened up a bit before we got to the mob. Usually though it only means we die when we have to do a retreat and get about 2 screens away.
