I highly doubt it.

Isn't it just an all 70's suit with no mods?

The short answer: no.

The long answer: You need other benifits from a suit that the virtue armor doesn't give, such as MR, LMC, FC/FCR (if you're a paladin), HCI, DCI, DI, etc. There's no way you can get enough from just a ring and bracelet.

Virtue armor is good for the beginning player that doesn't yet have access to either the gold or experience to obtain the higher end artifacts. That's about it.

So what would be considered a good suit mod wise for PvP?

Gold is not an object. I just want a great suit for PvP and I don't know what's good and why.

I'm an old time returning player and the new armor ratings have me all confused.

I'm gonna take a stab at this:

70 DCI (overcap to compensate for getting hit with HLD)
45 HCI (you could overap to compensate for getting hit with HLA, but I don't think too many PvP'rs have this, if I'm wrong, then 70 HCI too)
9 or better Mana Regen
40 or better Hit Lower Defense (HLD)
60 or better DI
+30 Stamina on armor
+Str or Hit Points (you want as close to 150 as possible)
50 Enhance Potions

I think that's it. One of the PvP'rs might think of something I missed.

Connor u skipped more important than mana regen thing. LMC that is.

Ah yes. I knew I was forgetting something. Add 45 LMC to the list.

You're right. I could have sworn it was 45. I just checked Stratics and it does say 40. And here I've been thinking that 45 was the cap for several years now lol. I guess I'll have to take another look at my chars suits and see if I can make some changes.
