Suppose the Devs placed a BOUNTY on Scripters,cheaters, hackers, dupers and PROFESSIONAL gold Farmers.

Like for example if you turn in and the GMs/Devs confirm a PGF you get a reward of like 10 mil...trust me they'd be removing 10x that much by delete the PGF!

If you turn in and they confirm a Hacker you'd get like 3 months of UO FREE!

Scripters could be worth 5 mil.

Dupers could be worth 20 mil ....Trust me they'd be removing 20x that much by removing a duper. Remember the Inqis. Glove guy, what was his name? Anyway I heard he'd duped like 30 pair!! 30 pair at say 30 mil per pair, 30 x 30= 900mil! I'm glad they removed that guy!

Cheaters worth 5 mil.

Anyway I'm sure some butthead would probably exploit the bloody ell out of it since that is THE NEW WAY of UO.

Imagine though IF it could work!!! We could really clean up some shards!

So would ya'll get behind an idea like this? Could possible work? If it could I'd become UO's first BOUNTY HUNTER! Woot! :gun:

The only reward I want is to see them dealt with. As it is now, the scripters and gold farmers (at least the really big and obvious ones) have been turned in hundreds of times by multiple players and yet their still going at it.

They seem to have moved out of painted caves on some shards purely from the pressure brought on by other chars, but they are not gone just moved to another area.

You want UO to bribe you to screw over your fellow players? Take casusal scripters out of the loop and you might have something. Gold farming is an activity that actually hurts the game. Running a script to make something possible that you would NEVER do through the stupidity of the system itself keeps a ton of people playing this game that would leave if they couldn't script anymore. I know a crap load of people in this game on countless numbers of shards, and I've known very few that don't script at least one aspect of this game.

Also the damn script/cheat that makes a pked player's INSURED clothes/armor/weapons fall into the backpack and become 100% lootable...Oh THAT SURE AIN'T HELPING THE GAME, bro! I have first hand personal knowledge of said script/hack/exploit wth ever it is. Those are the ones I want gone.

I'm killing the game? Explain how. I simply misread your post. I also don't think people need to give an incentive to report AFK gold farmers and hackers. I think most of them do it plenty. Its the gms that don't listen and the pentalties that seem almost non-existant that need changed.
