For some reason I thought I worked it out, but I just cant fit all the bloody skills in, 770 so far, so I am 70 on the +.

I want to be able to go 50/50 for PvM and PvP, what do you think of the following and where should I take the 70 points off from?

Anatomy – 100
Bushido - 120
Chivalry – 70
Fencing - 120
Healing - 90
Parrying - 120
Resisting spells - 80
Tactics - 70

my warrior is what sir kenga said.

115 swords
115 parry
115 busido
100 healing
100 tactics
100 anatomy
75 chiv.

works really well for pvm and some pvp. 1 on 1 stuff.. not against a necro mage tho :(

You could drop healing all together and heal & cure with Chivalry spells.

80 resist isn't doing you much good you could drop that. Push tactics to 100 Chivalry to 80 and the rest in necro for Vampiric embrace or wraith form.

I have seen:

1) Warriors with 100 resist but with no tactics.
2) Warriors with 100 tactics and no resist.
3) A bit of both with clever pulling down on some skills, 70 tactics, 80 resist and so on.

There seems to be mainly two schools of warrior design on resisting spells, some have it at 100, and some totally avoiding it.

Personally, my resist is at 60, and dueling with some friends in the past, I found that its doing me a lot of good.

But I have yet hear any reason or game mechanical explanation on why shouldn't one take resist to GM, in the old days (10 years ago), every warrior takes on resist that I know, if somebody could give an explanation on why a warrior design does should not have resisting spell, that may help me.

Warriors used to have 100 resist 10 years ago because a mages eval was compared with the warriors resist and if there was a big difference the mage got a big damage bonus. This was taken out at some point. Now resist basically effects how long de-buffs or paralyze will last.

Thanks for that; looking at all the PvP templates out there, some warrior's and other classes, it seems most of them still have resisting spell to GM today.

If resisting spells only effects on the time which you are paralyzed, why are most of the PvP templates are GM resist?

Does resist effects how much damage you take from a mage or monsters all?

Resist does not help you with damaging spells, it helps with spells like curse, paralyse, or mana vampire. Note that whole resist skill is nerfed by evil omen necromancy spell.

I really love resisting spell, though now I have learnt it does not resist dmg, but I often get been able to run away from monsters who parlazye.

The next big question is, to fit all the skills in, one must be drooped, should one drop Bushido to achieve a good balance between PvM and PvP?

Like so:

120 Fencing
115 Parry
115 Tactics
90 healing
100 Resist
90 Anatomy
70 Chvi

Here's an oldie but a goodie that still works in PVP.

Fencing 120
Tactics 120
Anatomy 120
Healing 100
Poisoning 100
Resist 120
Meditation 40

You'll need a good warfork and kryss to be able to use the disarm, infectious strike, armor ignore, and bleed special moves. Carry potions for emergencies and switch between the 2 weapons to poison, bleed, and armor ignore your target to death, and use disarm against other dexxers.
