Thanks, LadyTiggs, but apparently my request was granted without it so I just posted in the discussion. Thanks for setting this up, this is a great idea! I remember we had a reunion in IRC the year after the program was closed down, but that's the last time I remember having much contact with the rest of the crew. I really miss those guys (and gals!).

I'm an old UO player who recently returned. I remember you from the WoW forums. You know.. that old cesspool.

I applied to be a Counselor way back in the day because of a few friends of mine who were Counselors who kept telling me how much fun it was. Nothing happened with my app because it was right around the same time they killed the program. I was disappointed, to say the least. It didn't stop me from helping new folks, anyway.

Now I'm back with a new account, and starting from scratch. So many changes in this game... I'm still not up to speed yet. I think it'll take a while.

I've been thinking of starting up my accounts again and giving it a try. I am sure there is a lot of new things but it would be fun!

I was looking through some old CDs the other day to check the backup contents. Lo and behold I found the counselor handbook and all the other volunteer information that I had from my days counseling on Lake Superior. I can not join the group, but I will be with you all in spirit.

I was a counselor for a short time before the program ended. It was a huge bummer to get in and then not really get to be involved for very long!

I don't have any of the information anymore due to a hard drive death. I remember that letter though! I should I sent it out a lot.

I think it would be admirable for EA to start the program again. Are they thinking about doing that?

By the way does anyone else still have a house that has two sets of doors? I never wanted to get mine fixed!

I can't speak for EA and I am not speaking on behalf of any other gaming company starting up a volunteer program.

I can say that there are many of us that wish to get back in touch with old friends

Is this the same SLC Tigger that used to talk about all the house break in exploits she used to steal entire contents of player houses when she was the second in command on Great Lakes? As in back in late 98 and early 99.

I guess it is a sign of where UO is heading with you getting another paying job from UO.

I searched my old files after reading your post and found mine too! Always found the advice against using your cousellor as an indian scout amusing
