I dont think the burning houses in Luna should ever be replaced instead the scarecrow needs to get a tag that says "this is what could happen to your house and items if you use automated resource gatherers".

i would like to see the burning plots turned into pretty little gardens with benches and waterfalls and butterflies (lol). i am tired of seeing the fire and rubble, too (especially since you can't steal any of it) but i would rather see something pretty there than more houses.

In deed!! I think all those spots should be turned into lil gardens or parks. Places for the weary shopper to set a while whilst deciding which items are best or which pirice is better suited. Shopping is hard!!!

This morning I kind of thought they should open up, UNTIL I just saw an afk player place a house in LS Luna when another fell.

The dude did not even know he placed! I thought that stuff was over.

The spot opened up after 40 minutes. Sad sad day.

No stupid dye tub or tokens will ever make up for the fact that UO is a cheaters paradise.

If you are an honest player your chances of getting a Luna house are VERY slim. A Luna house on ATL sold for $2,000.00 REAL CASH. If you think the scripters are gonna let an average player have a chance at that kind of reward you are crazy.

I don't see how you could call this "punishment". They didn't burn down my house. If they had just randomly opened up the plots, I'm 99.99% sure I would not have been there at the exact moment they opened up with a House Placement tool ready to go. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have been there either.

I like the garden idea. I would even enjoy a little haunted cemetary there with assorted undead to keep the inhabitants of Luna on their toes.

Yeah well even if they did, the same cheating joker who resells ALL the luna houses for RL cash will insta place houses before any legit player ever gets close... It is a joke and UO does nothing while the same shmuck has several houses for sale and nobody else does.

I`d leave em all burnin,especially if they are going to open more in Malas.I personally don`t think we need more housing space,since on any given night I can take a walk on Tram side of LS and place a tower or at least a 16x18.More times than not I`ve found 18x18 plots without breaking a sweat.

I keep looking for that plot for a hrmm whats the small/big one,a keep? I don`t want a castle,just way to big but I`d luv the smaller version.One day I`ll stumble across my dream plot than I`ll win UO!

Maybe they should do a lottery for those spots. Anyone who has a char on that shard would be automatically entered. The account chosen would get the little GM button in the upper left hand corner of the screen announcing that they have been selected as the winner of a burning house spot in Luna. If they choose to place a house, their old house will be subject to normal decay rules. To accept the offer, all they would have to do is click on the button and accept, and by doing so a GM would teleport them to the spot for placement. There would be a random drawing every 12 hours until the offer is accepted, so if your account was selected but you didn't log in that day...too bad.

i like that idea Setnaffa! it would be cool if the plots were turned into seasonal areas - santa and snow and elves at christmas and spooks and ghosts and haunted trees at halloween and easter bunnies hiding eggs at easter and big turkeys taunting everyone and giving us the finger at thanksgiving... that'd be fun

the burning plots are still on origin. i have one in the back yard of one of my luna houses. cant say i mind it much. keeps the bugs away.

They just need to delete the burning stuff and let others place there (but I doubt it would be the original poster of this thread who actually gets the spot)
