Does Marties still drop at Swoop and Miasma?

I've probably been killing 50 or so swoops without getting one, then i went to kill paragon changelings and got 3 drops in 3 kills..

Can anyone confirm if marties still drop from swoop and miasma?

I was wondering the same thing myself - I've killed too many miasma's to count the last few months and haven't got a one (with moderate amount of luck - 900 or so).

It seems to have slowed way down, but that could be just the RNG. I've got marties in the last week from both Swoops and Miasma... and it took WAY more than 50 to get one. I just haven't seen a set piece in maybe two months.

Swoops, yes, but very, very rare.
Miasma, not too sure. I've been killing alot of them lately and can't recall getting a drop yet.
I think they've badly screwed up the drop rates for Armor Set Pieces and Marties on Swoop, Miasma and Thrasher.

I got a set piece last week from Miasma, so they're definitely still dropping. I've also recently gotten a martie from Miasma, so they're dropping too.

Nope they nerfed the drop rate real slow for Marty/armor parts/parrots. It's at a rate it should of been from the start. I was part of the group in Bedlam the first start of ML killing Red Death. Having a full set of the Marty in the first three days was pure BS.

Labyrinth = Minators?thats the only scrop i know thats tuff? sorry for asking i just lose track sometimes.

Aye, the Labyrinth is where the minotaurs are. A few screens in from the entrance to the left is where you will find Miasma. It´s a black scorpion.

Thrasher drops arties? i did not know that, always though it was that coil snake

Yup. Sometimes I'll go a few days without getting a martie from Thrasher, but at rare times I'll get a drop on 2-4 in a row. Still haven't seen a single set peice from Thrasher in the few months I've been back...

I get the same from most ML named beasties (including Miasma). I could kill hundreds and not get a thing, then in an hour I can get 8 marties. And usually the bulk drops have 6 of one sort. And usually it's something useless like righteous anger or raed's.

But I've found that the people who claim that the drop rate is nerfed are either talking about a change many years ago or have been having a bad day (or week) with the random number generator. I've noticed no difference in the drop rate over the last year (all the time I've been playing post-AoS).

Just got a Aegis of Grace from Swoop myself, so I can confirm myself, that they do drop

I've gotten 3 total drops from swoops in the past week.
Do the drops work like the anti-virtues, where you will retain the 'credit' of killing them after logging out? or is it just random and not dependent on number of kills?

Wear more luck. The higher the luck the more chance to recieve an arti. Been like this for awhile. I only mention it because noone else seems to have pointed this out. Having very little luck and having alot of luck makes a big difference.

I must be have a bad few months then, all the various level paragons i've killed especially in the past 3 weeks and not one drop, everything from shadow wisps to serpentines to dryads to golems, juka lords you name it, i've killed lots of these and more as paragons and not a single drop of a martie.

The RNG hates me.

You and me both. Many months ago (I think it was January), I took a character to Miasma and trained mace fighting from 90-115. I trained honor from 0-knight, then from follower to knight and on and on. Then I stayed there and fought for a month more. And didn't get a single drop.

Then I got several in one day. I think that was the RNG asking for forgiveness before I up-and-quit.
