[KR UI Skin] BB Retro v.1 released on UOSkins...

The first release of a combined UI mod that combines the enhancements of BB Enhanced (formerly Bitter Black 3.1+) with several mods that add in more legacy-based features to the KR client.

The full package is as follows:

- Skin: Bitter Black by B-LAU
- Enhancements and Bugfixes by various KR modders (Full listing with BB Enhanced)
- Classic Paperdoll by Gilder/Illandril
- Classic Minimaps by Zym Dragon
- Classic stat icons by Zym Dragon

Installation instructions are provided as there is a little more involvement with this skin than most.

Err.. are the "classic stat icons" the ones on the bar on the bottom? Or are they not shown?

They're on the bottom two central hotbars.

The stat icons themselves are mainly from the status gump in Legacy. Obviously the item mod ones aren't, but they're reasonable interpretations IMO.

Well I mean.. in that pic I see the strength one is.. but not one of the other ones is. Do you need someone to rip them all from the old stat bar or somethin?

your making it harder and harder to not switch over to KR it looks really nice i hope that people don't have to swap the files for patch most likely will not unless ea changes them but you never know

That's what I thought.. but what's so classic about a bunch of icons not from the original client that mostly aren't as good as what it had?

My thought process behind the stat icons was to take the images from the legacy client and create icons out of them (I don't like the icons in the legacy client either). Some of them are more difficult to represent than others. When I got done with them, I thought they were "ok," but they did not end having the look I was looking for. I put them out there in case people liked them better than I did.

I will be making a new set for my "Legacy Skin." While these new icons won't be taken directly from the legacy client, I intend to capture the feel of the spell icons when I make them.

I forgot that I did not finish the strength icons before I put the icons out there. It was not turning out well, so I left it alone for a few days.

I like them because the background makes it a LOT easier to read the numbers involved than the KR client's icons.

Dermott, the scrolling in the crafting menu's is not included in the BB enhanced version.

Ok, the scrolling fix IS in BB Retro. So just copy the craftingmenu.xml file from BB Retro to Enhanced and there ya go. I'll make the necessary adjustments to Enhanced for the future.

Sorry about missing that one. I've been tweaking the two around some and didn't double check.

Ok, download the bottom BB Enhanced (BB_Enhanced1.zip) and you're good to go.

The legacy bags can be resized by clicking on the interface tab in user settings. Click the: Enable UI scale box, and set your preferred bag size by adjusting the sliding: UI Scale. The downside, if you only wish your bags to decrease in size, is it adjusts all the UI. (Paperdoll, macro bars etc..) Of course this might also be good news.

What is it with Image Shack that allows it to get pop ups through even through multiple pop up blockers? I really wish you folks that use it would switch to something else that wasn't so intrusive.

Dermott, i found another little thing missing in BB Enhanced.

The Tithing points below the healthbar is missing.

- When using make Max on crafting menu's the marcro keep going when failing.
Is it possible to make it like that for make number too? Its stopping when failing for that option.


- My friend asks if the buttons on the crafting menu's could stand out a little more, something brighter.

When I did the Make Max fix I wasn't able to as simple fix the Make Number as I couldn't track how many already had been completed to reduce the goal and thus would cause an infinite loop if there was a failure. Not saying it is impossible just haven't gotten back to looking at a way to solve it yet.
