Hip hip hooray!

OSI Owned Houses

This should make a lot of people happy. Although I'm not sure if there's any pressing need for the space at the moment.

What would have been nice is if they would have given the GMs the power to remove these houses when they were paged and they would have worked like IDOCs when removed. It would have given people an actual reason to go looking for them.

What amazes me most is that EA have no way to track/find these houses themselves. Theres no internal search program to find "Owned by OSI" housing? /boggle

Anyhow, to the shards that have these things scattered all over the place, good for you. As the OP said, you might not need the space, but they are a blight and it would be good to see them gone.

So we do EA's work for them..... Again. Why not send the GM's around on each shard to look (it's not as if they are that busy, always sending a canned orange Dot msg 3/4's of the time not even remoted to the problem asked on) and mark up the co-ords. Then if some are missed ask for player input. Why is everything lately up to us to get it corrected? This was also put upon players on EM left over event items (wood walls, pens, etc), the special Mag History pieces, & burning area's in Vesper, Luna, & blocked off area's in Trinny. Then we were asked to send in reports on KR tiles goofed up...

I am in the same state. Their database for house houseing information must be a real peice of work.

It beyond boggles my mind that they cannot track them.

How....sad?

What does that say about the devs? That there are housing scripts and vendor scripts out there that can pull that information, and yet, the DEVELOPERS FOR THE GAME cannot do that......

Wow....that leaves me just about speachless.

QFT.

Maybe UO would be better if someone sat down and taught them how to run scripts.

Of course, then maybe they'd design a game that was anti scripting instead of continually adding content that is scripter friendly.

I'm pretty sure some IDOC scripters can find all of em in a short amount of time.

[Completely Unrelated to scripters]

As a former IDOCer i know how frustrating those OSI houses are and i can think of three on Pacific that i have been wanting to loot for quite some time. I'm sure the more experienced IDOCers have a much longer list.
