Un-nerf BoS?

There whole theory of making the economy slow down by doing this is plain dumb... 100K an hour with BoS ... what you can only do 75K an hour without? LOL big deal... I voted yes.

You can just about do it as fast recalling back and forth ... it's not going to help anything.

I hunt in Ilshenar all the time. I never used a bag of sending. It's not hard. You're never more than 60 seconds from a bank, tops, and you can run across the entire continent in like 2 or 3 minutes. You people are just lazy.

I agree, big time pain and it really doesn't stop those that want to cheat, just makes them go through one more step.

That Bags of Sending change killed whatever meaning hunting for gold had. And instead of increasing the number of people trying to get Charges for them it did the opposite, for what it matters.

Before they nerfed them I always stealth into a champ spawn after they are done with it, since they never really seem to bother with the gold anymore, and just loot all the gold and send it to my bank with a BoS. This whole process really allowed me to get a ton of gold with no real work.

Yeah, I thought it really cheap, but it was available so I used it. Yet, I agree with their decision on changed the BoS. It was too easy to loot stuff and made players kind of lazy in their playing. Personally, BoS should have never been in the game to begin with. If you want to loot a ton of stuff at once, use a packhorse, or if you can, that pack creature thing necros can summon.

It won't happen. Jeremy just commented on it at the recent Town Hall I believe. I still voted yes. I don't care about using it for gold, but I did use it for leather.

Should it be changed back to how it was in terms of resource collection? That would be nice... Leather just weighs too much.

Should it be completely un-nerfed to it's original state? Heck no. As has been mentioned, the amount of gold people could collect with it - honestly or otherwise - was obscene.

i vote yes, i am tired of tossing my gold on the ground when i am out hunting, or even having stacks of gold at my house's and having to make multiple trips to the bank to bank it.

never really used Bos to much, but it was nice to have. now it is worthless.

Word on the grapevine is that EA has realized this and is including a UO logo'd rectal thermometer as a pre order gift for SA.....

I vote "Yes". It was a stupid way to deal with it. But that's how smart they are: bots are farming dread spiders? lets boost them. Then suddenly everybody points out it makes no sense and they come back to usual dread spiders and just adjust the loot.

If there's too many gold coins entering the system, just nerf the amount of gold coins at the base. Right now every mob is a fountain of gold, and you just toss it everywhere on the floors of dungeons.
And afterwards, "Waaah the economy is dead, items are selling for millions... we need a gold sink...".
Reduce the gold coins tap and cap/remove LRC, and add another consummable that can only be bought from NPCs.


But maybe I should bot, because if PvM is about kill-kill-kill-recall-recall-kill-kill-kill-recall-recall, it doesn't interrest me to actually play it. Fortunately there's less and less players in UO so you can hide your piles of gold coins and farm your little corner of the map.

Oh BTW, the economy is so much better since BoS nerf !

OK apparently no one has figured this out yet. But the economy is and has been messed up for years. So hence their economy reason for the bos nerf is bull crap. Like how some people are selling gold by the millions and never run out of gold to sell. Think about it. If you think all the duped gold was removed from game well its not. Now I heard about this dupe(NO I DON"T DO IT) But apparently its called the Vesper Bank Dupe. Which from what ive gathered is not fixable and not stoppable. Apparently it has been out for years and the devs supposedly know about but can't do anything about it. From what I heard any items made with it have unique id numbers hence making them new spawned items and not dupes. Now I want to stress this point. I DO NOT KNOW THIS DUPE. DO NOT PM ME ASKING ME ABOUT IT. I only know what ive read from a forum.

While I understand and support the reasons for removing the bags of sending, it was nice to be able to hunt high-level spawn (and collect the resulting spoils) without having to take a break every 5-10 minutes to drop things off.

And yes, there are pack animals, but leading a defenseless beast of burden into the far reaches of evil seems rather silly to me. And don't even get me started on abusing a game mechanic to allow one to magically teleport pack animals to their location.

A much more simple solution would be to divide all gold amounts in game by 10. People would keep their wealth relative to everyone else, and with 1/10th the volume lugging gold around in game becomes much more manageable.

Nerfing bags of sending is one of the biggest mistakes the dev teams made it hurts the honest and poor players a lot. please dev team consider reverting bags of sending back to there original state thanks.

I dont really miss Bags of Sending that much because I played so many years without them to begin with.

I do sort of feel for the newer players that had them from the begining though. Learning to live without the sending bags has got to be pretty ruff going, besides the fact that they are banking less gold.

I really thought everyone would be used to banking gold the old fashioned way by now!
