A couple of returning player questions

I've setup a new account and am trying out the KR client. After playing around with player creation and creating a couple of characters just to try things out I went back to delete the test characters but that doesn't seem to work. I vaguely recall some type of time limit before you can delete a character but I have know idea what that is anymore.

After looking over the New Player's and User's guides for KR on Stractics I'm curious about something. I see that they've added quests to quickly increase skills in New Haven and you get some type of small quest reward for completing them. Does every character I create have access to these quest no matter how old the account? Also is it possible to get all of the rewards on one player by learning all of the skills? (Losing other skills in the process of course.)

Thanks

If I remember correctly, once you create a character, he can't be deleted for a week. I believe this was to prevent someone from starting a character, stashing all his starting items, deleting this character, creating another, repeat, repeat, repeat.

No idea about your other question.

Thanks for the quick reply K'torr. Too bad I didn't remember about this when I was just playing around.

Yes and Yes, Oh wait though, dont start with any skills at 50, thats the point at which you are asked to return and claim your reward

The New Haven quests will open up certain areas with "accelerated skill gain" so that you can practice those skills up to 50.0. At which point you return to the trainer for the reward which are some uniquely named items of lower-mid level stats generally... decent for a new player, but will be replaced pretty quickly.

Thanks again to all who have responded.

I didn't really give much thought to it but I've been playing around with a character on Great Lakes because that was where I played before. It still has one of the best pings but it appears that several of the servers are located together because many have the same ping as GL.

I'd like to pick one that has the same latency but I don't really have much holding me to GL. I also did a bit of Siege as well but I tend to be distracted on the home front too often to really give that a shot right now.

I probably would eventually want to plop a house down again and I don't know how crowded things are these days.
