They shouldn't have allowed the houses to be placed to begin with.
That would require them to, you know, actually use the testing process to determine what's going on. As usual, it was a "Hey, it's been on TC for a week (where very little actual testing goes on)," followed by, "We put it on Origin for a day, nothing serious went wrong," and then, "Roll out."
If they actually had, you know, a testing process that actually tested stuff, well, you know, it'd be amazing. Instead, we find all kinds of stuff AFTER the fact, including stuff that should be on a list of things to check.
For instance:
ALL CHANGES TO GUARD ZONES:
- Are guard zones functioning as intended where not changed?
- Is house placement still disallowed?
- Are thieves able to be guard whacked?
...
For ALL points in the game, there should be a specific list of major subsystems checked when they implement a change to a major system.
But they don't have that in place.
