has been updated with the following:

Non-factioners can now do beneficial actions to factioners in Trammel rulesets
Monsters will no longer cast the wrong sort of curse on players

An issue was fixed with Ninja Shadow Jump not allowing you to perform any actions afterwards

Turn-in house addon rewards now give a deed that allows you to choose the direction of the addon. Existing addons can be axed to create a deed with this functionality.
Scout Armor now has the Mage Armor

This is great. Now players will be able to go to Felucca and play Factions. Then when they are done they can go back to Trammel and do all their normal activities.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. But that's because I never played Factions to know if this really is a good thing.

I am not being sarcastic. This will let players who would like to try Factions be able to without having any negative side effects.

I have to admit that I feel a little disappointed by this bug fix. While I do agree that this has been an issue for a long time, it is only one of three issues with shadowjump (that I am aware of), and the only issue for which it exist a clear and easy workaround enactable by players. This issue was really not much of a problem.

Conversely the two ignored issues (i.e.: "shadow"jump actually visible to everybody on screen and impossibility to shadowjump on tiles in clear sight) have made impossible to use shadowjump effectively for a thief. Solving those two issues would actually make thieves playable again without touching any game mechanics. Instead they focus on the only issue fully solvable by the player (by opening your paperdoll right after shadowjump). Not saying that is not an issue, Just saying there were much bigger ones to solve before that.

Same for me, just recently brought up again.

Although it would be nice on Siege rule shards, that the non beneficial acts clause would be limited to a char and his pet, as long as the char is in faction stat loss or just in the "heat of battle" in Siege/Felucca.

I just tested something on myself today.. I was in Trammel and killed myself with explosions.. My character went into stat loss and it took away a point.. Is this a bug?

I remember the same experience from my lockpicker some years ago, as he managed to blow up himself with a NPC chest in Brit/Tram. Only 300 GP insurance per item, but faction stat loss.

This is the best patch ever. Now just lower the stat loss time to 10 minutes instead of 20.
