Here is a simple boost to the game.

Seriously.

Let casting occur in towns.
Random monsters spawn all over towns.
Put some random loot on them. Like colored cookies or pizzas or something useless but fun.

Have like 1000 different drops on them. Theme of the day.

Just let it go. Give us no info.

WBB is alive and well on Atlantic!

That's one of the reasons I went with Atlantic when I returned recently. At least *something* is like the old days. =)

I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but we should have had warning.

Brit isn't the only broken town and people are going to end up getting ganked in a town and not know WTH is going on.

My opinion, put brit and minoc back to normal and take guards out of yew town and gate.

One of the coolest things I seen was the monster invasion of Brit. That was pretty cool. WBB on Catskills is completely dead, as in there isnt a single person in town. Nothing like the old days.

Yeah............. Perhaps they have finally come up with a plan that would provide some interest in all those empty cities!!!

Leave it..... maybe a safe zone inside some buildings or such?

and Spawns in cities........ OMG I hope so............. send in a thousand rats and spiders...................

put sea creatures in the water that runs through towns........

UO may be dying, but let it go out proud, with explosions and lots of mean spawns and maybe a tidal wave now and then?

This was changed around UOR. Main purpose we people putting fields, blade spirits and EV's in town back in the day to kill afk bank sitters in Felucca [back when people bank sat in Felluca Zomg !]
Anyway that was pretty much the reason, though I wonder why anyone would afk in town anyway while not near an NPC. Since NPC's call for guards was better to afk by one.

All Japanese shards will get published at 08:00 JST(=19:00 EDT). How will it be treated? Will this issue remain and be fixed at the next maintenance? Or will they be published with this issue already fixed?

I'd like to know it it might happen, that publishing Japanese shards will be delayed.

Also watching mages coming in town withere there summons guarding them. Was amazing.

Actually I remember when the change went it it wasn't so much that as it was possible to kill NPC's in town with field and area effect spells in Trammel, people were doing it for Black Sandals. Reason I remember this so vividly is because I had all kinds of fun on a stealther guard wacking the people killing the NPC's and then looting them.

Lol yeah that was another reason. Which was no big deal cause I just relocated my black sandal farming to Magincia jewelers which are near the guard zone border and just ran in and out with explosions, the spell delay was enough to get me safely out of guards so 3 explosions = dead = sandals.
That is ultimately why they made NPC's invul in towns... =[

When you would not feel like playing you would put your best clothes on, ride your best mount, if you were a tamer bring your fully trained WW, and just sit there and watch the others.
