Hi, I am a returning player and have forgotten so much, inscription FAQ seems broken at the moment so I'm hoping someone can help me.

Basically I'd like to know if there are any statistics available on approx scrolls from 90-91 to GM, am currently at 91.9 and making flamestrike/gate scrolls but gains are very slow and obviously with the need to meditate its taking a long time.

I believe UOA is now an official OSI 'allowed' program is that correct? If so, how would you set a macro on it to complete the three scrolls, meditate to 115 and then run a certain amount of times?

Can Inscription now go past GM or is that the limit? I've seen so far that a talisman' can help craft scrappers etc at GM, but would wearing a talisman while trying for skill gain stop gains?

Just got a gain from making a BOD book, but 10 scrolls per with a 50% chance seems like an expensive way to GM when there seems to be nowhere to buy bulk scrolls now?

Your best bet for getting large amounts of scrolls is to run the NPC vendors up at the Mage Shops. As you buy the scrolls they double each time they restock until they reach 999.

As far as gaining you can alternate making 8th circle and spellbooks. You will get gains making spellbooks, and if your magery is high enough you have a chance of making slayer and super slayer spellbooks. Not to mention books with other nice mods.

Spellbooks you don't want can be donated to the Library. You have to complete the Library Quest to become a contributor. You don't get a ton of points, but they all add up. Or you can sell the spellbooks back to the NPC's.

Take a packy full of scrolls and go to the Brit Library. Make your books and turn in the unwanted ones.

The talismans increase your chances of making higher circle scrolls, and spellbooks. I don't think you would increase your gains by wearing one.

Do you know by any chance how long each restock cycle is for the scroll vendors? Was thinking about camping the fel vendors for cheapness but either is fine, presuming they both still take the same amount of time.

when i trained my scribe i made
recall, mark, gate, and res scrolls to about 90
then i switched to vengefull spirit.. the gains were slower, but the return on gold was greater..
they sell for over 100 gp each.
i made over 1m selling them to necro npcs..
my favorite hangout was the umbra mage shop.. you can camp there for a few hours and not only stock up on 1000s of regs and scrolls but make a few hundred k doing it

find some mr2 items for scribing.... it helps a lot

Finally got the restocking down to pat and managed to infuriate quite a few Europans tonight by taking the 999's straight to the bank before they got there. (Well! I did build them up from 20 ). Apologies if you're watching lol

Necro - nice, but require regs and mana -right?

I've made over 3000 spellbooks and have approximately 15 super slayers (which I gather is a good return) so hopefully I'll make back some of the many hundreds of thousands of GP back. I'll be honest, I managed to recover my UOA seed, then got totally confused with making the macro's - so when I saw an option to not have to use mana I grabbed it with both hands and held on tight lol. 91.1-GM doing spellbooks only (unless I had regs on my toon and was totally bored = rez/gate scrolls)

Quite shocked that someone with positive karma would be able to make necro scrolls without losing any tbh, but thats the old gamer in me. I do wish they'd use the lore instead of letting it be forgotten

Aye no regs and no mana make spellbooks the way to go. Since your on Europa and not my shard hehe a good place for getting scrolls is Luna, you have 3 mages in the 1 shop and in the other shop is the real estate broker (forget name) that also sells scrolls so you have 4x NPC's right beside bank that you can get up to 999 scrolls.
