have you trained it?
Did you get it when they first came out? I think there was some kind of bug when they first came out, but I can't remember exactly what the problem was.
As Patty says, they were bugged when they first came out (who'd a thunk it, a bugged bug!) I have 2 on Europa like it. As always when they fix bugged pets the fix only applies to ones tamed from then on, 'legacy' pets aren't affected.
Yup, you have one of the original "bugged" bugs...like me. Because of the 100% fire and 100% physical, it translates into no damage.
Mine was a gift, given to me very soon after ML was launched, so I have never had the heart to replace it with a newer model that can actually do at least as much damage as a chicken.
