Why don't enchanted apples stack?

I have to keep a house just to hold the darn enchanted apples..

Each apple takes up a storage slot, 125 in each container.

For the same reason that other items such as granite, sand & tribal berries don't stack - poor coding.

There are SO many items that should stack but don't. Right now I'm moaning about the Arcane Gems I'm swamped with, there's absolutely no reason why they shouldn't stack. All like items that always do the same thing should be stackable. But it took them around 10 years to finally make bottles of potions stackable, so don't hold your breath.

Be well - Pax

I could not agree more.

Regular apples stack...so enchanted apples should too.

Dude,if all you got to worry about is not having enchanted apples stackable then you either are doing soo well in uo that nothing else matters or you rely way too much on enchanted apples, because there really is no reason to have more than 125 apples stored at a time. :) unless that reason to have them set aside for guidlmates and allies to use, then I can see that being a huge problem with the storage of the war house.

But yeah it does bug me too that they aren't stackable along with the arcane gems and smoke bombs too.

Enchanted apples do not stack because they can be exceptionally crafted (for some strange reason... there is no benefit to it other than a maker's mark, and I speak as a GM chef). Anything that can be exceptionally crafted will not stack at all.

Probably for the same reason that making an enchanted apple uses up a bottle.

Ya where does that bottle go? I can understand when crafting a keg, we use 10 bottles to line the inside of the keg, but the apples? Come on? Where the bottles? Same with the grapes?

As for stacking of the rocks, I sure wish they fix that, go mining have to move to bigger house to store rocks ;)

/signs thread in BLOOD

I whined and whined on the KR beta forums last year about stacking pots and everything, and at least they did pots! Makes me very happy. I love stacky pots. Mmmmmm. Apples, granite, freakin smoke bomb eggs. Those things don't stack. This makes Stiggy sad.

Can you actually believe I had to argue with a bunch of l33t pvp noobs about making pots stack. They argued that it made it to easy to carry pots around (they must not know how to chug) and that it would make it too easy to loot off corpses. LOL. Gawd.

Whoever the pot stack dood was poke him with yonder stick and make him/her make all other stuff stack. This make Stiggy happy.
