I've asked a GM to move something like that and they said they cant interfere with the game.
I also once asked a gm to move a corpse that I killed because it was out of my line of sight and they said no again.
Must be a cushy job to only have to say no to people.

Why make a big deal about it when there is more of the same in different spots? I don't get it! Just move along and find a different spot, geesh!
Yeah but a couple of years ago they could move monsters. I have had them do it for me before not sure what changed.

LOL thats too funny. They must get a lot of smoke breaks. In the last two years I can't get any of them to do anything. I bet they have a peg stuck on the generic response keys...
LOL Maybe when you page it spins a wheel of canned responses!! That could at least explains some of the responses I've gotten that don't have anything to do with what I paged about in the first place.

Personally I've never had any problems with GMs. Whenever I had a legit problem, I typed as descriptive of a question as I possibly could. Most of the time, I got excellent help.
Then again, I haven't paged a GM in years seeing as I haven't played UO in years. So... I could be wrong.
Anyway, my point is a lot of people complain about GMs when in fact it is the person paging them that is wasting the GMs time. Unless it's gamestopping, don't bother. And do try to use clear English when asking for help.

I always try to page Gms in telegrafic mode and not by using sentences. It looks like :
Harrower in Deceit - Tentacles spawned in unreachable spot - Need them to be moved for completing harrower
This way the Gm browsing the list of pages can assess the problem very fast and is more likely to come.
Of course it sometimes happened to me, when a GM didn't understand an easy page, that i wanted to make a new page like "Hey dude, what about dropping your Big Mag in the can and actually come do your work?". Never did it though!

Only time I ever told a GM to get off his lazy arse and do something resulted in me taking a much needed 3 day vacation in the buc's den slammer. I would not recommend doing that.
