Can everyone list all the bugs you know about please?

Hi everyone i hear that this is one forum that the dev teams actually read from time to time and take serious. my hope is that maybe if they read these bugs we list perhaps they will be more likely to fix them or at least try it can't hurt so ill start.

1. Many items not stacking like dragon scales.
2. The 9th anniversary ladders work but in certain directions they look like they are broken.
3. When placeing certain houses after a house just fell with items in it sometimes some of the items get stuck under the house sign.

• My hope with this post is maybe someone will list a bug that the devs teams did not know about and if we are lucky maybe the devs will take them serious and who knows they just might just fix it or them with time.

• Like i said it cant hurt so please post all the ones you know about no matter how big or how small of a problem they are thanks. i knows there are alot more but i can't think of them right now off the top of my head thanks for reading and posting your own bugs if any.

Please no bugs that can lead to a cheat,hack,exploit or dupe any other bug is fine just to clarify.

i am not talking about any bug that can lead to a cheat, hack, exploit or dupe so leave those out of it. i just mean others bugs to clarify maybe bad timeing for this post maybe i should of made that clear before posting this anyway i think its a good post as long as no one reports a bug that can lead to a cheat,exploit, hack or dupe. i guess i wasn't thinking at the time about how people could misunderstand my post maybe ill redue this post after all the dust is settled with all this madness going on now sorry folks for not thinking clearly at the time.

Sorry, hun! It's a good idea, and there SHOULD be (if there isn't right now) be a sticky thread for people to do just this!

You COULD risk it, and report the bugs directly to EA ([email protected]), but given the panic we have at the moment, I think you're right and we should let the dust settle first.

I know you mean well, but...

From the UO Rules of Conduct, Rule 19:

... You will not intentionally use or share any bug found within Ultima Online, real or fictitious, regardless of whether or not it grants an unfair advantage. You will not directly or indirectly communicate the existence of any such bug to any other user of the Ultima Online service ...

It's best to just report any bugs to the devs at http://www.uo.com/mailBug.html and not risk getting yourself in trouble.

Well if you got one of those bug quiver from the green tokens that can hold more then 500 arrowa/bolts throw it in the trash can now! Do not call a GM to come fix it!!!!

Ha I love that one to Specially when I am standing right next to my dragon and getting flame strike by the monster, why is it it can see me, but my pet cannot see it.

My own personal opinion on this, is simple coding. It's all in the Dev's area of fixing. Why the h3^^ should I or anyone toss a quiver thats bugged or not, honestly. If there are more then 500 in it, I can see it going poof, but if there isn't, where is the problem?? They fixed all the duped shrouds in game did they not..... Same applies here too, just simple coding that corrects all quivers that are out there, Simple. And pls do not say it can't be done, because it can, the shrouds proved that one folks!

Yeah monsters NEVER seem to have that problem. NEVER lol.

They have like ''special'' abilities...

I live in a keep and i was empty-ing my beehive...and i got freakin' attacked by a reaper..while i was on one of those balconies of the keep.
And i couldn't cast spells on it...or cast an EV...but yet the reaper could flamestrike me.

And you simply got to hate it when you're logged on your crafter INSIDE your house...and you dismount from your beetle to unload your goods...and your beetle suddenly runs away up the stairs...cause a stupid troll that's standing outside the house...targetted it.

It happend to me TWICE this week...when i was deco-ing a friends house...my beetle with all my furniture in it , just ran off..

I just wish they'd fix the damn bug that cuts off the graphics of things placed on top of elvish furniture. Makes it a pancake to decorate.

i also hate how my map of the world has a corner sticking through my roof...no matter how low i hang it on the wall.

A bit of a problem with folks reportedly getting banned with their houses destroyed for reporting exploits.

Folks have been complaining about things like dragon scales not stacking for almost 3 years. Stuff has gotten stuck at the house sign for a long time.

The proper way to report bugs is to submit them using the feedback link on the uo site.

Email major exploits (without using them first) to Jeremy and uobugs.

i think a lot of people are scared these days to report bugs...cause it might get them perma banned.

Although it's not a fact..i'm not going to test it...

these are not game altering bug's they are more annoyance bug's/glitch's.
you could even re-word this topic to report all things that bug you in the game.
covers the same stuff.

it would also make everyone else that plays more aware of what is going on and what to watch out for.

would suck if someone gave you a quiver and you didn't relize it held 2000 arrows and some jerk pages on you , next thing you know your banned.

letting people know is a good idea. hiding stuff makes the company look weak and unprofessional like they are ignorant to whats happening.

the ladder thingy is for the steps to get up and back over the wall you placed it on. I thought the same as you until thinking on it a bit. example: castle ladder - east facing.

I think it's foolish to have this fear...

What they should be afraid of is reporting bugs that they've benefited from.

I've reported TONS of bugs including some major exploits and I have never had any action taken against my account. You can even accidentally dupe something without getting banned. Just don't tell other people how to do it and don't keep any dupes.

I've already butted heads with you on this topic in the thread where I was saying that publicly releasing how to dupe was inappropriate. You seemed to think it was a positive thing to do.

To your point, I think it would be good for EA to comprise a list somewhere on THEIR website where people can go to see if an item is a known illegal item. Every time someone is banned for having something they shouldn't, that item could be added to the list. It's bad for people to be banned for something they didn't know wasn't allowed.

I also want to make the point that there's a big difference between telling someone a bug exists and telling someone how to reproduce a bug. Bug reports are irrelevant if the bugs aren't reproduceable. My conclusion is that this forum is not the appropriate place to submit bug reports.

If you submit bug reports correctly, they are added to the queue of bugs to be fixed. If you also include detailed instructions on how to reproduce the bugs, you can greatly expediate the bug fixing process.

I have sent in a LOT of bugs that literally were fixed in < 1 week. Why? Because I send detailed instructions of how to reproduce the bug if I know how.

One last thing I should say... if you hear about a serious bug such as a duping bug, don't try to reproduce it on a live shard. Instead, test it on test center and then delete all characters that you used to do the bug. Then report the bug with very detailed instructions on how to do it and leave it at that. If you want to be really smart, you can save your instructions in a text file, so you can resubmit the bug if you feel it is taking longer than you expected for the bug to be fixed.

Personally, I'd like to find a way to make a quiver hold any arrows/bolts. Whenever I die, the arrows quiver or bolts quiver dumps all the ammunition into my backpack (ready to be lost if I'm res-killed).

I think they've already patched the only bug I've ever loved: filling pitchers repeatedly, especially from a wave. Doesn't matter, can't get to the Nujelm docks where my favorite wave is because of all the monsters, so I'm stuck using the boring water trough anyway.
