or are there ALOT mroe young players running around UO this Sunday? I notice on some of the shards alot more than normal young players around brit bank and luna bank...

Now IM not saying anything about the bans and so forth..but...

It most likely has nothing at all to do with the bans.

It has to do with people using up their free trial accounts before the time is up for this stage of the Event. Anyone who has been around much for the last 2 weeks has seen the Youngs running 24/7 through the Ethereal Fortress.

I've actualy helped atleast 3-4 brand new players over the last 2-3 days , so apparently we are getting some fresh blood

I don't know where you read that. Go in the room with Melissa and you will find (young) players after (young) players running in the room getting the 25,000 tickets. They don't have to worry about getting attacked by other monsters with the young status. But, they sit there and throw potion after potion. If a youg player attacks any creature they should lose the young status and fight for their lives.

Used to be if you were Young and attacked, you'd be in actual combat. Dunno how they can potion toss without being "aggroed".

This is still the case Dermott, but having Melissa surrounded by 1-10 dragons at a time... well she rarely reaches the young player. Occasional Imp or Balron may wipe them out though if the pot hits them as well.

All they had to do was the same thing they did in the moonglow rift, make it a dungeon. In Fake Moonglow, a young could be attacked at will. However, "I can not believe i am saying this", If marketing was in charge, they would want as many Youngs as possible, thinking that if even 3 out of 100 actually kept the account it was worth it.

my 9 year vet account still has "young" chars on other shards. I will have to get pics and post them with my "young" chars riding an ethy

so it could be people making new accounts and farming points or could be people who have made a char on the shard back when they first started playing UO and still have the young status and are now farming points to broker over to their home shard. just a thought.

The wisp dungeon IS a dungeon. So is the Ethy Fort (I think?). The problem (?) is that things seem to work differently in Ilshenar.
(young) chars are not attacked in them - at least, not in Blood Dungeon, nor Wisp Dungeon - and there's (obviously) no "youngs beware - you can be attacked inside" message when (young)s enter. I assume this is the case with other Ilshenar dungeons, but for the life of me, I dunno why!
