Why does house placement suck so bad now?

I can't get anything to place in the size that it should fit, Did EA/MYTHIC do some weird changes that screwed everything up?

It seems I am hearing a lot of people are having troubles placing. Well I hear that in between the cries about being banned.

Yes, they added the House Resizing stuff without testing it, much less fixing it in the last few months that it's been a problem.

I guess I was lucky in that I was able to resize a house without any problems; the new plot fit just fine where I expected it to be able to; I did not see any changes in the landscape that would have caused problems.

I did find that I had to put my UO window in the upper left corner of the game play window so there was no black area up there at all; I usually had the hmm, shortcut bar (or whatever it is called) there and out of the way. If the window's not in the upper left corner, I had trouble placing and got a tad nervous that I'd lose the spot I liked so much.

and an hour between demolish, I mean OMG, don't try placing a smaller plot thinking you can just resize it.

Ive had no problems mate and im one the best in the business!!

Resizing option gives u a safe safe option for 1 hour grace free placing!!

Its stopped auto house script placing at Idocs because the tool goes hot after 5 quick attempts...

Its all good change and all good stuff

Make sure there nothing in the field of placing that will block placing such as old 255 stone items on the ground - they cant be placed over still - stuff like that!!!

This is where I am trying to resize, its in Zento there is a house there on every shard except mine, I can't get anything larger than a 7x7 there. crazy!

i have placed and sold two casltes since fix so maybe it is working maybe just lucky!!!!!!

About two weeks ago I had a spot where one of my accounts could place and another couldn't. My wife tried and confirmed this even though I found it hard to believe. Same computer. The only difference was that the account that could place had Mondains Legacy.

There is some adjustment regarding placement near to city wall. There was a post a few days back. But I think you should still be able to place a slightly bigger house than a 7x7 from the screenshot you posted.
