What would you dupe?

Since the only topic anyone wants to discuss is duping, here's a spin on it.

Let's imagine that this year's anniversary gift is.. a Dupe Token! (1/account)
You double click it and target what you want to duplicate, and viola! You have another exactly like it.

So.. assuming it works on anything but anoter dupe token (I know you were thinking that) or a character, what would you use it on?

I wouldn't give a damn if it was a legal gift or not.. I wouldn't use such a thing. Ever. I'd toss it in a trash chest.

I would dupe GMs, then perhaps we could get some full coverage and responses to our issues.

I would use it on some event item or some such, but this would never happen.

You would still only have 1 dupe token, the token is used up when u made the 2nd one...

Hmmm i would have to go with duping a years payment lol.

Why can't you dupe a dupe token? It's not like you're making more tokens... you're just deleting one to get another :)


I'd probably dupe one of my unique items, since I could sell it for a lot and then buy some of the things I haven't been able to get yet that I've been wanting (powerscrolls, crimsons...).

Okay, definitely my favorite so far! :p

The trouble would of course be finding one in the first place.

I think the chances of seeing a GM actually appear In-Game in a given month are less than getting 10 consecutive Crimsons from lady Mel.

I'd dupe my crimmy so that when I lose it to the INSURANCE BUG sometime in the future, I'd still have one.

I would dupe a land plot holding a castle on the Atlantic shard. Then I would place one. Big spots are so sparce there and trying to buy one results in you not paying your mortgage in real life for a month or two,lol. Kinda sad but true.

I've accessed other people's account to costumize their houses , never stole a thing.

I've been decorating someone's keep the past days...he gave me a few rares to display...i didn't steal any of them.

I am like the virgin mary of UO...There is absolutly no dirt on me what so ever.
I have a clean conscience.

I would go to the farm a dupe a chicken. Because, you know, it would be the only duped chicken in the game, and thus worth Billions.....:danceb:

I would dupe the 1st GM I see so maybe when you page one it wont take you 10 hours to get a auto response ..........

I think it would be easier if EA just sold UO to an other big company.

A company that revives UO with some passion...rather then leaving it to die...and not even mentioning it on their mainsite.

I call the duped bandages!

But seriously, I don't think I'd want to dupe even if I knew how and had permission or wouldn't get caught. That's way less fun than actually playing the game! I expect when I get all my characters to GM I'll probably soulstone half their skills and go re-train them as something else, just so I'm not bored.

I would dupe the dupe tokens then use my duped dupe tokens to dupe rares. Then dupe more dupe tokens and dupe other things I may want at the time.

I'm with Crysta. I've spent alot of time and hardwork to achieve what I have in game. Every item I own I've managed the honest way. To see duping going on yet again makes me wonder why I stay with this game. :(

The ONLY thing I've learned is if an item exists (within normal means) and I want it, by playing the game honestly, I CAN get it. Maybe not as quickly as I'd like, but none the less.. I'll get it at some point.

You know the rumour is that there still are GM's out there and not just answering machines...but they're EXTREMELY rare...

I would dupe who ever is responsible for these bannings and the way they been handled , that way I could kick the shid out of him/her X 2

You two are taking this thread too seriously. ;)

This thread isn't about duping things, it is about coming up with a creative answer to vent a little frustration over all the nonsense going on right now.

Personally, I would dupe Wiggles. He's one of the very first white wyrms tamed on the shard and I would hate to ever lose him to a glitch or anything. :) That way I could have a "backup" of him in case something ever happened.

I guess I would dupe regs and pots since I use them a lot,

also I have a hard time keeping 1/3 jewels so maybe I would keep a cashe of those.

I have no use for Deco!
