sea serpent scales NOT stacking

Hi all,

I've got sea serpent scales NOT stacking when I go to put them away for storage. These are all newly fished scales and the problem seems to come and go, sometimes they stack, mostly the do not.

The ones that fail, when you highlight them with your mouse they do NOT show the quantity until you pick them up (they just say the weight).

The ones that DO stack show the quantity on a mouseover.

Is it just me? known bug? new bug?

Old bug, had a bunch like that for years. A pain to be sure, they won't even re-stack once separated.

I had tht issue but unlocking the stack moving it and adding again seem to work them lock it down again green thorns also do this

There are two different kinds of Sea serpents scales: Those which show a counter, and those, which do not. The last ones are the ones, which never stack together again (unless this will be fixed in the future).
Other stacked items, which do not like to stack together again, have other reasons. This can happen with scrolls, silver coins, petals, thorns etc. Why this happens, nobody knows for sure or if, doesn't share. For scrolls it could be something trivial like one stack used for casting a spell, and this stack may not be put together with other identical stacks any more ...

i have the same problem i tried your method and sadly it did not work. i have my serpent scales in a secure chest i tried placeing them in a pack horse and on the ground to stack them it did not work only thing i haven't tried is doing it in an unlocked and unsecure container but i doubt that would do it. what they need to do after this event ends is start fixing all these bugs the small bugs and the big bugs before doing another event or upgrade.
