Cool. Zero desire for any of the new rewards so I'll be selling my tickets.
I like the ID wands and gift boxes and parrots because I see so many of those things. But I'd add all charged items......healing wands, protection/bless charged armor, etc. AND practice weapons. Would do far more for cleanup than adding stuff that still spawns and won't clear out much of anything.

I like it, just see a few problems with it. For one, Rope isnt a stealable, comes from krakens last i checked. And two, why is a bucket on there, and no barrel? The bucket was only available for a few days, maybe a week or two. I dont remember. I just dont see why its there, and for only 5000 points.
There are more legacy stealables than the smith ones, things like the herbs from Moonglow or the food you steal from provisioners. Also, I wonder if they have or will fix older tmaps/fishing items so we can turn those in too.
I hope we'll also see fixes for the recent pet/monster bugs we've been hit by (line of sight issues, teleport issues)
But a good list of fixes and additions nonetheless. I'm not sure I'll pick any of the latest items, but that's not a problem.

On the other hand why why why are they removing compassion points from New Haven??? That is the best place for warriors to maintain their point without have to drag escorts to other towns.

Yes the mouse hole could be a tad bigger
There is no other way for non mage people to get compassion skills without risking loosing the escort in transit, either to a creature or a dumb bug that won't let them finish. This change is totally going to kill my non mage chars for compassion. Of all the changes this and the spellweaving are the most annoying i've seen in a while. My 120 spellweaver just became worthless as most of the people I fight with are avg 100.I thought only the scout armor is non-med..the sorceror's armor seems like a mages dream to me..100% lrc AND all 70's??? What in the heck are you talking about????
First of all, Oriana, I have been doing compassion quests on my melee characters since they FIXED them on the release of Mondain's Legacy over 2 years ago - I've lost ONE from walking them through the moongates or a server line (and that was the Minoc server line by the gate one out of dozens of escorts to minoc - I think I hit the line moving too fast on a mount and got too far away from the escort). Those "every time" bugs have been non-existent for two years + .
If you are really having these problems, it is your account that is bugged - in fact, I seem to remember this coming up two years ago with you (or someone with a very similar complaint) complaining of the exact same thing, when no one else was having issues, after the ML escort fix, and the general consensus was that the account was bugged somehow.
Secondly, I've never had a monster attack them, either, and I've ran some THROUGH the bog of desolation on the way from Britain to Cove (and sometimes even on foot all the way to vesper or minoc), or going the other direction to Britain. In the process the escorts are exposed to dozens of hostiles and at least one unavoidable server boundary. Not lost one at all from that. The only time I've ever seen a monster attack an escort was a lava serpent that someone summoned with a random Talisman of Creatures that hit them with an area of effect (I would guess the same would hold true for any of the "area effect" creatures, but rescues are rare in areas with them)
Lastly, there are MANY different options for the non-mage. The easiest is the The Flower Girl escort in Ilshenar. She gives compassion for each trip, and it's a simple walk from the Inn by (not in) the Oaks spawn, to the farm between Spirituality & sacrifice - with the only spawn being positive karma pixies, wisps, and very rarely a single unicorn (and therefore only a danger to an evil character in training). What I want to know is why such a sweet young girl is going to live in the wilderness with an old coot that has a single SHEEP as his sole companion (grandpa, really???). You can do that quest over and over. Similarly, I believe Bravehorn gives compassion, but its been forever since I did that one. I don't believe these or the rescue escorts even have timer restrictions, so you can do them much quicker than even New Haven escorts.
You can also rescue nobles from the Ilshenar Sacrifice brigands, and get them to half of the Trammel locations via the Sacrifice moongate (I generally skip Nujelm, Serps, Buc's Den, Cove, Minoc & Britain ones, due to three being islands, and the remainder having extra walking distance compared to the others). Similarly, there are even times on Trinsic's Barrier Island, where one can get TRINSIC escorts - literally steps from the Trinsic guardzone and delivery. If you get pursued by too many brigands, you just go to the bridge or the northwest shore and yell guards a few times - I've even had whole groups of brigands commit the Sosarian version of "suicide by cop", calling the guards down on themselves! The same gate guidelines apply, and it's an easy walk to Trinsic Moongate through town, with the biggest danger being maybe a single Ogre.
If you are offered a destination you can't get to, just DON'T ACCEPT, and keep looking for one you can do.
i'm wondering why grizelda's hangover cure, which has been available any time in any amount every day for the past 7 years or so, is worth more points than Jaana's cure, which was available for only a few days as a gift about 9 years ago

I dont know what to think about the sorcerers suit, Its nice and IMO it trumps the other 2 suits available by a long ways. That should have cost maybe 150k each in points, but thats only an opinion sooo.....AZ is right about the scout armour though, only a collector would pick that up, hmm you know, I might be wrong but studded would be a 5 piece suit right, no head. thats a little interesting.

I havent tried in awhile...but are Glacial Staffs still spawning? Wondering if I should ditch all mine or not...

1. The carpal tunnel associated with handing a billion small items for tickets only to then have to hand in those billion tickets for points.
2. I really couldnt see the value in it. Ive got about 150 snowglobes (1 full set and a lot of spares) and about 100 assorted moonstones. Im simply not going to hand them in.
Yes it is way to small. I want one anyway i think it's cute how it talks and teleports you downstairs. but if you put it downstairs it won't teleport you up.

Potted Cactus is actually one of the six mysterious strangers. He has a "Wilt" attack, and you can only defeat him with 2 full kegs of G-Str potions, and 47 jugs of water over a period of 9 days!
Loot will be 3 plain fern seeds and a green thorn.
Aye have to agree with some of the posts here ...like the mini house deeds ...50 pts??? i been holding on to those since 2005? and the silly origami papers get 1k points??

They've clearly been doing a ton of work up there in UO-Design-Land. That's an impressive list of fixes and things, and which things they chose to work on made a ton of sense.
One of the things they fixed had been invalidating an entire player class' ability to function properly within guard zone on a red. It's a small-looking fix when tossed into a giant list but one with a lot of impact, and it was perfect that they gave it a high priority.
Specifically - - red tamers should be able to heal their own pets without being treated as 'criminal' by the flagging system! This should certainly be tested by players like us while the thing is on test center btw.

No, that's unlikely - and I'm not the minority.
All it takes is actually taking care AT the server lines. MY guess is 99% of the "bugged" people aren't; they just kept riding at mounted speeds or running on foot, stopping every so often to let the escort catch up, and letting the escort get TOO FAR BEHIND during the server line crossing by doing that stop and go method. If one takes baby steps when you know you're within a few steps of the crossing, keeping the escort just a couple steps away at all times until the line crossing resolves, it makes it across with you (provided you don't crash from some other method, or die to something unseen waiting for you to cross) - every time. I've seen the same sort of thing happen with tamers and pets not crossing, and mages and their controllable summons. in each case they got about a screen ahead, and the distance confused the AI of the creature, when the controlling character hopped the line.
There's a logical explanation - just no one wants to hear it - or hear me REPEATEDLY point out there are TWO safe, no-server, no-gate, infinitely repeatable, compassion quests, one outside Trinsic, the other at Ilshenar spirituality, that can be done INSTEAD of the New Haven escorts - and can actually be done MORE QUICKLY, as they don't have timers.
Geesh....

I fully agree with that statement. (Besides, that moonstones are 250 points, but such items like Mini house deeds should definitively count more.) Not only that, but the amount of clicks and mouse moves one has to do to finally get this low amount of points makes it really non beneficial.I for one don't understand the points assigned. For these 50 points you will have to:
Find the item in your house/bank box.
Drag it out from there it is to a bag/backpack.
(Maybe: Hand it over to your turn in character)
Drag it from your bag to that almost always covered collector. (If you mixed up the collectors, repeat with the proper one.)
Move on to the box for the tickets.
Click that little dot on the chest menu.
Move your mouse to the ticket.
Click on the ticket.
Besides the moving to the collectors/box each has to be repeated for each item. Awarding for clean up/for handing in the old stuff? Not really!

The new turn-in's are nice but the new armor sets are very disappointing.
I just bought an all 70's, 100% LRC suit with better mods in luna the other day for 3 mil And the other suit not being medable is lame.
With tickets selling for 80gp per point, I could sell the 600k points and have enough gold to make an all 70's sut, 100% lrc, 55 dci, more then 2 mr and at least 30 lmc with enough gold left over to tok dye it.

The tickets themselves can be turned in by creating a UOA macro. You still have to push a button, but it's a lot easier to push a single button than to click the blue dot then target the ticket.
