What on earth is the point in playing a game that stays the same?

If you get one of your pawns to the 8th rank, it can turn into any piece you wish. Most often, of course, players will pick the Queen, and thus the power powerful piece on the board is effectively duped.

Oh found a shop that sold me that ancient game. Damn thing is pretty expensive too if you want one with a fancier interface.

Though it surely shows you should not mess with a classic working game concept.

So why did we get aos again developers and can't you remove that crap ruleset?

The game would be more popular if it didnt force you to group to play.

I mean.. you can't go past the first move without a 2nd player.. it's rediculous!

Bishops and Knights are Way overpowered and need to be nerfed! Their ability to move as far as they want in a single turn makes a mockery of the Knight classes L special move ability.

And there is a major exploit that allows Veterans to checkmate newbies in 4 moves. Something has to be done about that!

Naaa, I never used this "feature". I truly think it's the downfall of chess and the reason why so many players quitted.

BTW, I returned to chess after awhile and I'm looking for a good template. I have a Ruy Lopez, Silican Defense and a Boden's Mate. What do you suggest?
