Usually the HLD has already hit you before the running starts.

I see HLD as a perfectly sensible solution against those who want to run around with an overpowered offensive-only template.

That was amusing... And how many of those same overpowering offensive templates can you think of that DONT use HLD ??? I woulnd't say HLD is extremely overpowered, but perhaps a wee bit. If anything I'd suggest simply making the 8 second duration NOT reset when a weapon's HLD goes off again UNTIL that 8 seconds is over... as it is currently a good moving shot archer can get upwards of a 70% chance to hit you (if your max DCI too) once HLD goes off and it stays that way until he fails to H.L.D you again in that 8 second period.

I think HLD should at the very least show up in the status bar as a debuff. Not everyone plays with the sound on.
