Why is it, when I start on strats, so that I get all the announcements, then scroll down to click on Uhall that I am not directly taken to Uhall? I have to scroll down yet again and find Uhall. Just like in game, needless clicking drives me nuts.

Because they probably haven't linked the individual forums to their respective entry in the drop-down box on the front page yet? How about saving yourself some clicking and make a book mark to UHall? Not sure which browser your using, but I use Firefox and have UHall marked on the bookmark toolbar at the top of my screen...makes it a lot easier to get here.

Why would they bother updating the forum links on the main UO Stratics page? They don't update anything else on the site.

Actually, that's not true. I know for a fact that the Bushido page was updated a few months ago, and that other updates are in the works, but there's only one person handling them that I know of, so it's a slow process. Remember that Stratics depends on player input for a lot of their information. If you have information to update any page, put together the update in either Word or HTML format (if you know HTML otherwise Word can be transposed into HTML fairly easily), and email the information to zigzag here on Stratics.

I just double checked and once again Connor is correct, a few things have been updated. As for users sending in updates; this is a commercial site. They make money from ads and from people who pay for Stratics Plus accounts. There is no excuse for not at least updating the forum links on the main page.

Try the UO Toolbar, there is a full UO Stratics menu in the Community|Forums menu.

Good idea. Although save the time, one's already been built for the UO community (see above).

Yes I thought of that, but I like to see the annoucments on the front page of strats so I know what is coming. I could have bothe the front page to strats and the front page to uhall both open on start up in tabs I guess, just a little unnecessary I think to have to do that when the old forums worked just right.

Because **they** is really **YOU**, the player. if you want updated essays and such why not step up and write one for posting on the Stratics site?

Oh wait ... most of the playerbase wants it handed to them - ie., done by someone else.

They are going to fix the forum links all at once, when all the relevant forums are either merged into these boards or archived.

And, there are several pages for crafting that I submitted, that are currently waiting for the forum restore to complete to be working into the UO stratics pages.
