Mouse holes... fixed?

Ok, so I'm not placing my mouse hole until I know that they've worked the kinks out of it. I don't want to lose it and I don't want to drop down to the 1st floor of my house if I happen to place it on the 2nd floor of my L shape or the 3rd floor of my tower.

Can anyone confirm/deny that they are finally working properly?

My game-time involves every aspect of this game, but thanks for the constructive contribution to this thread.

I see the depth of in-game knowledge is seeping through the number of replies this has received.

They did say it was fixed, but reports have come in after the fact that people are still losing their holes....

Just wanted to put my two cents in saying

the mouse hole is not what i expected at all....seems to be about 3pixels in size and no way my HUGE Sherry the Mouse would ever fit in it anyways....

I actually play both Siege and Atlantic.

Being a 10+ year vet, I'm fortunate enough to enjoy multiple houses on the same shard and other shards all on the same account.

On Atlantic, I have every character type in the game, fully developled/scrolled/suited.

You can walk through in Rat form (as a Ninja) or while transformed into a Slime (as a Mage). You will be transported to the same tile one level lower when stepping on the mouse hole. It also works backwards (transporting you back up), but transporting you back up doesn't seem to work correctly if any items are locked down on or around that mouse hole.

i put it on my keep and was able to go into the green part on teh first floor but as far as going back through it upstairs it has been a 100% no go same message you get

I think it's because of the wall on the 2nd floor. Mine won't teleport me down because there's a wall directly below the mouse hole.

so the mouse hole only works on the 2nd floor and only does so by droping you down a floor... but not actually through the wall?

Yesterday, July 29, after reading the mouse hole redeeding problem had been fixed, and watching a friend test hers in several spots in her house, I decided to move my mouse hole. Hit it with an ax, it poofed --- no deed in my pack, just the message I had destroyed the item. This was on Baja, Malas facet, and the mouse hole was facing south in a customized house. I don't know if any of these things have anything to do with why it poofed. I submitted a bug report, and thought I should warn others just in case.

when remodeling ur house, make sure u pick up the mouse hole. mine disappeared. and no its not in moving crate and was not in my backpack

i got the same mesg. doesn't seem to be a way of evicting them. after several tries, i was able to get in, and it dropped me down one level - where i landed safely on a fire
no way to get back up via the mouse hole that i've found.
