I THINK he might be talking about the "recovered from a shipwreck" painting thats based off of the Lady in Red painting , but I handed in all my shipwrecked items and dont have one at the moment. But I couldnt pass up a chance to be ........ well an idiot .... LOL.
(also if the OP would maybe fill us in to what exactly hes talking about we can help a lil better)
sorry that was what I was asking . I saw 2 sell recently for millions and wanted to know what it looked like as i have many painting. i though was a trick from the interior design tool not a rare so was curious. i even have one a portrait without any form of from a shipwreck title

I would try asking someone in the rares forums , I myself have never heard of one selling for millions , but then again there is alot I dont know about rares. Good luck.
I'm pretty sure only the ones that do not have the shipwreck title will go for milions.

and yes when you turn them the house tool the color changes and there are 2

South facing: Green
other notes:
the purple lady doesn't behave nicely when you are trying to place it against an East facing wall.
there seems to be some way to bug these paintings into getting stuck on the wall, being unable to unlock or hover over to see the properties. the painting seems to become a static object that you can single click and it says "portrait"
questions:
does anyone have any Lady paintings that are different than in my screenshot above? IE: different colors or the same colors facing a different way.

You have to be careful with those, because using a interior dec tool on a blue painting will turn it into a red painting.
okay. I created one of these in my house somehow with the interior decorator. it is obviously a bug. I was turning it and raising and lower it and all of a sudden the thing was bugged. I assume you can get them from demolishing your house after it becomes bugged but I'm not 100 percent sure on that because I paged a GM and the GM confiscated the portrait from me. he also said if I find these anywhere in the game to page a GM and they will confiscate them, so I would be very careful paying millions for these items.

That makes to much sense.
There has been a bug with these portrait/paintings for a while, they will become static in your house. The GMs dont' 'confiscate' them, they delete them. If you drop your house with a bugged painting still in it it will remain, you can't pick it up, and it will block house placement.
ok thanks for clearing that up. so i wonder where these other non-shipwreck paintings come from?
and i used the word confiscate because that is the word the GM used.
Well, there were some older server birth paintings without the shipwreck tag. I didn't think there were *that* many of them. If there is some recent influx of them I dunno where they might have come from.

A very rare one is server birth rare the huge ripped painting.
There's one from doom that looks a bit like it.
(i'd love to have one of those...)

Back in the old days they sold them for 2.5k-3k per painting.
Good to see the old crap become rare , cause i have plenty of old crap.
