Captain of the Guard Reports Progess in Council Murder

The Royal Guard is pleased to report that, with the help of numerous volunteers, much progress has been made in the investigation of the heinous murders of the Royal Council. At this rate, the case is expected to be considered closed as early as this coming Friday, August 1st.

(In plain terms, the current event is planned to be turned off on Friday, so if you haven't yet participated, hurry and do so!)

So Friday Casca will be rescue and Melissa will finally be put in jail? But what about spring clean up? Is that going to continue or will those NPCs that take items all be gone this friday?? Will we have access to the chest to turn in tickets or get rewards after Friday? Or should we rush down there and use all our points up now before Friday??

We are simply ending the Council murder event, not the Spring Cleaning. Jeremy is just giving you the heads up that those who didn't complete the quest have until Friday to get it done. Spring Cleaning will continue for a few more weeks.

Thank you! So the quest will end Friday, Casca gets rescue and Melissa goes to jail. But Turn in will continue.

Connor,
If you need point the easiest thing to do is head to Doom. Farm the T-Maps. VE, Staff of Pyros -> Lvl 1-3 maps. 200k points per hour if you work it right.

I've really enjoyed this part of the event. Melissa is not too hard, so most players can participate. There's been a nice turnout on Legends and I've seen some players that I hadn't seen in a while. I've acquired some great loot, including a crimson cinture!!! Thanks devs. :)

I hope Casca doesn't get rescued that easily... and that Melissa doesn't get captured that easily.

Melissa's the whole reason we're in this mess in the first place! I sure hope she's smart enough to stay safe after losing hundreds of fights against random people and running away.

I wish they would at least let this go through the weekend, it give players something to do while waiting for other content.

While I agree that Doom is a good place to farm points, I am curious if you meant 20k points per hour instead of 200k. Otherwise you are saying that you can kill and loot the 100 point maps from more than 33 creatures a minute (not even counting the fact you would fill up your backpack every 4 minutes).
