lolWhy couldn't KR become a magical rabbit that hops around shooting hundred dollar bills out of its ass filling our homes with stinky cash?
They tried once with Ultima Worlds Online: Origin then They tried again with Ultima X: Odyssey. Unfortunately, they were both canceled before finished.A lot of money.

Only if the link directly links to a page that lists those naughty things is it prohibited, but you're right on that link there, I didn't recognize that name when I reviewed it. Thanks for the catch!you not supposed to link to wikipedia from stratics because it has information on third party programs.
Graphics on par with Diablo III require money to pay artists, money to buy tools and equipment for artists, manpower to create the art, time to create the art, manpower and time to ensure that the KR client's engine can handles that art, perception to know what "rank with Diablo III" means in the eyes of the playerbase that actually wants that, large enough playerbase with a desire for that "quality" of art, large enough market evidence to show what style of art should be created of that "quality" of art, large enough playerbase with a computer that can handle that kind of art...A lot of money.

I'm with you on that. Ever since I played UIX, and wandered the hidden areas of Bucs Den, I thought, "Wow, if this was UO, this landmass would have to be much bigger, but imagine what they could do."They tried once with Ultima Worlds Online: Origin then They tried again with Ultima X: Odyssey. Unfortunately, they were both canceled before finished.
*Orvago frowns, continuing to wish for a truly 3D Ultima Online*
my first mmo was Diablo, and guess what? when Diablo III comes out I'm totally ditching UO, heh
