So all those bank sitters can now get something without having to SEARCH for it, nice, way cool, good to go, NOT.

Spent hours searching this morning then took a break was going to go back to searching and then I readed of the battle in Luna, why should we search for the strangers when they come to us.

Just sit at the bank, work off your murder counts from the last night's CS, or sit on your crafter and work it's skills till you see the stranger then recall out and return with your warrior ready for battle.

I feel the same way, either make the events fair for all or dont make them at all!

Is each stranger that shows up everyday only going to spawn once? So far only one has spawned in luna on origin.

They seem to have upset the Spring cleaning NPC in Luna on Siege. The NPC have left their posts and are wandering. The one for pub 53 is running around outside the walls.

Will you typically be informing us of where they are, or will there ever be a circumstance where we'll just have to wander the entire map until we find one?

Also....Using Luna puts it outside the realm of the Dungeons of Sin. Is that a unique case to her, or can the other also spawn in other places besides the Dungeons of Sin?

The back story was quite good, and the fact that these guys are spawning in friendly cities is awesome. I'll be hanging around for a few months this time round (i left around the time of the Ophid invasion last time, missed quite a bit of stuff), things seem to be heating up.

popped into Luna and boy was i surprised to find her. LA took her out with a great fight. Oh and she also causes greater dragons to go wild. However pups and dread warhorses worked great. Watch those dragons.

Any correlation with there being 6 strangers and there are 6 different super slayers? The first in Despise briefly changed to an Ancient Wyrm before popping out and leaving the box and gems...

Does the one in Luna have a different shape that can be seen briefly?

6 main ones anyways not counting Fey.

Seems to be a pattern. Stranger spawns, gets repeatedly funked by mobs of players. Lather, rinse, repeat say 3-4 times, and then stop. For anyone working dyring the day, like yours truly here, I'll never see these strangers in anything other than screenshots.

Ditto for any of the shiny shiny pixel crack. I want a coloured box too, goddamn it!

I am getting very aggravated. I am on Great Lakes and have not seen the first individual at all. I have been popping in and out of Despise on a regular basis. I have read some folks here have multiple boxes from this event and I have yet to see anything. Furthermore, I read about the new stranger for Luna yesterday afternoon and sat in Luna for 15 mins after reading and noted stuff on the ground. No idea when the 'stranger' appeared period. Fellow players when inquired just ignored me. Went back to Luna several times during the evening. Got back online really late and went to Luna and discovered I missed it by 15 minutes.

What I see is this. Another event that will exclude many people. I don't have time to sit in Luna or Despise ALL DAY or ALL NIGHT and wait for a spawn to occur. There is no indication so far from anyone when these are popping up. And now I have to figure out what dungeon is next and run around for hours on end trying to find this stranger. blah..

Instead of being aggravated I suppose the best bet is to just give this event a pass. Man great storyline and buildup with the previous events that anyone could get too. And to have it all fall in on itself by having to go on a wild goose chase. :-(

Kaeldia also turns into an Ancient Wyrm before disappearing.
And Reptile slayers have no effect on her.
I doubt there's any correlation with slayer types...

OK, I had to come back on this morning and say, thank you Draconi. I dropped by Luna last night and did get to fight the woman about 7pm on Pac, so thanks.

I don't know what is more annoying about this event...

The lag in Luna is annoying and makes fighting annoying.

or

The poison doesn't hit you if you recall in right after she red lines, so you could scout her then tell your friends to recall in when she is red lined. By the time they get in all they have to do is pick loot off of the ground. With enough coordination the recallers could pretty much have all the loot off of the ground by the time the people that actually fought her are cured.

All the loot goes on the ground and its actually easier to loot if you never fought her to begin with. Why would you bother fighting her? Stay on your crafter and go loot as soon as you see the mass poison messages.
