I woke up at 2pm on Friday. Girlfriend wouldnt let me sleep said i had to get up even though i had nothing i needed to do. (Thanks Beccanator)
I played some UO and some WoW then went out and got some last minute things for the trips. We left my house and went up north to pick up my friend (Rocky of ZOG sonoma shard). I Think he might be a chick.... took him almost an hour to get ready to go. Packed as if we were going for a week instead of driving there doing the townhall then driving home.
Finally get on the Road and head down 101 to 580 then 580 to 5. Heres the first fun part of the trip *laughs* some how we end up on 5 NORTH and dont realize it till we are in the outskirts of sacramento. (Over an hour out of our way so over a 2 hour loss of time) We turn around and head south.
We are laughing and joking in the car with lots of computer geek talk and tons of Ulitma talk. We finally make it to San Diego and the fun part 2 happens. Map Quest fails with directions and theres no exit with the name mapquest says. So here i am looking for the exit and nodda. 4 exits from mexico and i decide to take the offramp and turn around and head back north to look for exit 17 instead of the street mapquest says. My girlfriend asked why i was getting off the freeway and i asked if she wanted to go to mexico instead.. her reply: "oh" She then turns bright red.
We get back into San Diego and take a random exit and got into a area with a ton of homes and bust out the laptop. Using somenes internet (thanks to people not securing there internet) we get a map and find where we need to go.
Once getting to were we needed to be there was like no parking for about at least 7 blocks except the mall parking lot. Wel we decide we didnt feel like parking 7 or 8 blocks away because all the parking lots were full and no parking on street either due to Comic-con Internation going on 2 blocks from where the Townhall meeting was.
I go into the mall and buy a hat and some random stuff then we head over to Comic-con Internation and check out everyone in dress. There were people walking the street handing out items for free so we got a ton of goodies. after about 3 hours we decided to go over to the hotel and wait for the townhall to start.
The townhall started on time and Whispering Rose Radio was there covering it live. There was some talk about where the rest of the Dev Team was and some random things like what was going on with C-Trees. The Players were asked for feedback about things like factions and what we would like to see added or taken out.
There was a VERY long Q&A. Most the Answer included:

I am sad for them because i know they wanted to answer ALOT of the question that players had about the duping issue and scripting. Question about UOSA and future pubs and this event but their hands where bound due to marketing team but also because Draconi was out of the states.
After the Townhall we hung and talked with people. Got to meet people and put faces with chars and stratics names. The we headed home. On the way out of the parking garage we got hit by a mini van. Took a chip of paint off my back bumped but smashed in his sliding door and messed up his paint. I got out of the car to see the damage and the driver never got out of his. He didnt even stick his head out just talks from inside the van. He asked why i stop and i told him to look at all the cars that were bumper to bumper trying to leave. He then said he didnt think he hit me and i smiled and laughed and told him he did. He replyed that he was sure he didnt hit me. I took one more look at the amount of damage he took to his door laughed some more and said oh you hit me and some paint is missing off my bumper but im not worried its all good and so he said ok he wasnt either then. I got back in my car and drove off.
When were got to the pay station our parking bill was $50. OUCH!! oh well payed it and we were off. i passed out in the back of my car after we put gas in it and Rocky drove. I woke up at 6:30am to find we didnt make it home. No instead we were parked in a hotel parking lot outside of LA and everyone was alseep in the car *laughs* so i wake Rocky up and tell him lets go.
The drive was fine till he decided instead of going 580 to 80 to 580 to 101 he was gonna go 580 and drive into san fransico instead. took us way longer to get home but we made it.
All in all the trip was super fun and i cant wait to see how the Seattle one will turn out. And Now for the pics:
