Can we please get a warning before the clean up ends?

Just hopeing we can get a warning letting us know when the spring clean up is ending so we are not stuck with unused points. i would also like it if we could have more time if possable to give us more of a chance to get the rewards we want i still need nearly 2 million points to get what i want and i already did both quest with all my characters. ill make this a poll so feel free to vote or comment.

why not conner?? they have masde a mockery of it with the 6 minute quest for 25k points..yes the horse bolted in the first 2 days but the devs refused to shut the f''king gate!!! the gates still open and peeps are still farming 25k tokens!! hey me included because if u cant beat em f''cking join em!!

why not make it last a year till 1g = 1 point

Make a new char
Run through the middle part of the Murder quest (Ethereal Fortress rescue)
If you have a friend who can keep you alive, or are just good, do the last part of the quest in Wisp dungeon to get the extra 25K points.
After 7 days - delete char, rinse repeat. 125,000 to 250,000 points if you cycle all 5 char slots on a trial account. In 8 days you have 250,000 to 500,000 points from the trial account on each shard you perform this on.


Most people have enough upgrade CD's that have free 14 day trial account codes that even if they do not have a char slot free to delete, they can use the 14 day trial account.

I think EA gives a 14 day trial account code on the webpage, so you do not even need a CD.

If you don't want to bother with a trial account and you have high enough hiding and stealth just walk your character through the fortress. I have done this several times using soulstones to transfer the skills through all my characters and haven't died once. Takes only a few minutes to get the ticket.

Ample waring my but it will be august in days. so one of these days i may just wake up log in go to the chest and and its gone along with all my points that i had saved up that is just not right. i say give us a week notice saying somethig like you have until the next five on friday or until next weekend to use your points up now that would be fair.

i also agree here a weeks notice would suffice more then a weeks notice just wouldnt be right. even if there is no extended turn in give us that much at least to lessen the chance to leave unused points.

I would like to see it extended maybe until the 11th anniversary gifts are ending.
August is so much stretched with vacation (2 weeks offline), a work project in my free time and garden work as well, so that I have not really time to play the game again until September. (Well, thats only me, counting 5 active accounts.)

They gave us an estimated time frame so we could plan ahead, and also said they would give us ample warning ahead of time of the exact day and not just turn it off one day unannounced. What more do you want?

I would like them to turn off the turning-in part before the reward-claiming part.

I have points I'm not sure how I'll spend just yet, but I don't want to lose the choice anytime soon.

EA already announced a while ago that it will be sometime in august and that they will give ample warning, if it lasts till the end of the year everything will be worthless, i had 9 million points saved up after getting everything i wanted to keep for myself and was planning to make a ton of gold from selling suits with those left over points but then this event came out so im not happy as is...

I am hoping the end of the spring clean up event will work something like the end of the Treasures of Tokuno, where you'd not be able to get any more of the tickets for turnin (just as you stopped being able to get the Tokuno minors as drops), but could continue to buy or sell or turn in any tickets you already had. And of course would be able to select rewards well into the future, just as even today you can buy, sell, and turn in existing Tokuno minors in exchange for majors.

I'm hoping they leave the turn in chest when it's over too.

Thats how lame the new murder ''no quest '' is.....

Or why not make a new quest were u simply buy a loaf of bread from the bakers and then u have to eat it and get another 25k points for doing sooo...

There's still plenty of gold to be made once it's over. You've also forgotten the cardinal rule of selling event items in UO...

I HAVE made a ton of gold so far, and will make even more once the event is over. How do you ask? By selling things at the beginning of each segment of the turn in and not waiting. Not only did I sell off all of 3mil points total that I'd turned in, I did so when the value of those points were still above 85g each. Now I'm farming more points to get items to stash for later on down the road. Heh, I even got a Crimmy from Melissa as a bonus.

well this has to be the only event where that rule kicks in, for real event items like the 2008 valentine champion rose, it was going for 15 mil at first, now its worth 50-60, for other event items from the days of Event Moderators, everything is about 4x the original price or more

I'm talking about non-EM events. The events that are held on every shard that usually last for several weeks or longer, such as the Despise invasion or the Magincia event. EM events are a completely different animal since only a very few actually got to participate, and even fewer actually received anything from them.
