That would just make too much sense. No reason a pet should be allowed to bounce in and out of a house after flagging (all kill) on another player.
I agree. Anything to nerf house fighting and tamers in the same move gets my two thumbs up...laNo reason a pet should be allowed to bounce in and out of a house after flagging (all kill) on another player.
The tamer hating trolls simply can't resist a thread like this can they?I agree. Anything to nerf house fighting and tamers in the same move gets my two thumbs up...la![]()
Unless the pet is an aggressor. If it is an aggressor, it should have to time out just like a regular player has to.2. No, auto stabling should not be done away with.
That too.Unless the pet is an aggressor. If it is an aggressor, it should have to time out just like a regular player has to.
I feel like it's important to leave this alone; that is, once a tamer dies, that tamer has a way to auto-stable the pet and usually save it's life.i agree!! and it shouldnt be able to insta log out when it is flagged!!
If I had to guess, it was due to the fact that you could see the person enough to cast your spell into the home thus the GD could get out to eat you. You want to be able to cast in a home but the targets not be able to harm you in return?? sound a LOT one sided there. That would just make too much sense.
Just like a tamer should not be able to log out to save his pet if it is an aggressor.
Last week a tamer and his GD were afk in their house, so I dropped a poison field in the house when all of a sudden the GD came through the wall and attacked me and chased me 3 screens north. After about 10 minutes I killed the GD and then went back to kill he afk tamer.
Why was the GD able to go through the walls? No idea!!
I feel that since the pet does lose skill and a player does not; that auto logging-stable should only apply to the PvP agressors. If you defend and die why should you have to suffer a training skill loss? But entering houses while flag where a player can not is a bit over the top.I feel like it's important to leave this alone; that is, once a tamer dies, that tamer has a way to auto-stable the pet and usually save it's life.
99% of the time that this happens the tamer is indeed already dead. Pets suffer skill loss upon death and ressurection. There's no good reason to force tamers to have to put all of the additional remedial training time in on the pet due to the pet dying in PVP every single time the tamer did. Remedial training on certain pet skills is just work, nothing more.
Would you like to be at 120 magery at the start of the night, and then have to train up .8 magery to get back to 120 at the end of it? Didn't think so. Tamers don't want to do it with their Superdragons, either.
The day they put in forced skill loss for all other templates is when it becomes fair to force a tamer's pets to die each time he does.
Right now, a pet being flagged on someone wouldn't even be usable for this. It doesn't work quite right, and the pet's flag doesn't necessarily match that of the tamer.
I have given this idea allot of thought. I was thinking, If all Player/Pets/NPC were to turn yellow as you set off on a placed house you could stop all fighting from with-in a house. Being flagged already keep ppl from running into a house while in combat. Now to stop ppl from casting on targets outside would put a stop to it all together. The reason I had never voiced it was due to the fact of guilded fighting and training in your home.Stop all casting in homes and you solve a lot of problems...including scripters...la
