New Hooded Shroud Dupes?!?!?

I have seen over the last couple of days, Hooded robes of umbra and 1st year robes and cloaks died sigil purple, this was in trammel so there was no way they carrying a sigil, i paged a GM and got the usual "thank you so on so on so on, blah blah, u will not be informed of the outcome due to our privacy rules". The first time was on europa and she was standing in Brit and i know the GM's saw her couase wen they responded to me i stood there for another hour or so and the player never moved, so i thought fair enuff but i logged on again today and she was still there not AFK speakin to peeps, weird eh?
The other time was on Great Lakes the guy had 1st year robe and cloak on sigil purple again and same story as above nothing happened.
I know this cant be legal because its impossible to dye them, please someone let me know wot the hell!!! thx :bowdown:
also i remeber the dupes a while back and they turned them into monks robes

This sounds more like a sigil color exploit to make an item remain sigil-dyed than a dupe that creates copies of something. That's probably why you only see 1st year cloaks and robes (it's possibly not worth sacrificing a higher-year cloak or robe to be sigil-dyed).

These were done with the sigil dying exploit a few years back. They fixed the bug and made the items legal to own. I have a few purple spellbooks and lanterns in my house that were made with the bug...sadly no shrouds, That would be one hella cool item to own.

on legends there are some purple spellbooks for sale.. you know, in case someone is an idiot who would spend lots of gold on a spellbook with no mods that happens to be purple just so everyone around you will know you have your gold than sense.

yea iv seen loads of spellbooks, weapons even leather armour but never the shrouds or reward robes, hell i even had a spellbook couple o years back dyed sigil color. Just thought the shrouds and robes were duped or summit cos there not supposed to be dyed

As i said before if someone is Duping or expoitin any part of this game then i want them out, just for the simple reason its wrong! And how should i pay more attention to my gameplay?

That one has been around for at least a year, if we are talking about the same person.
Sigil dyed shrouds are very rare (but still a bugged item...).

Sunglasses became required with AOS and without the need to exploit. Thank the devs for that one.

Actually its only a color to me but this guy is right things can still be dye sigil colors here is a pair of arms of armstrong from the new haven guest the leather tunic next to it is also from the new haven quest.

ok that I didnt know but how did they get the sigil color on the tub is what I would like to know ?

People did a trick to make their leather dye tubs to dye cloth. When they paged GM's to fix them, the GM's accidentally messed up the setting turning them back into leather dye tubs but making the colors those of a normal tub.
GM's have since stopped fixing broken leather dye tubs. The few tubs in existance are rare, and not used publicly out of fear someone will page on the owner and have it's special [and very cool] abilities taken away.

I don't care about old bugs that have been fixed and old things that are sigil colored.... what I DO care about is folk duping.... or using exploits to create items of such color or whatever.... if you "just" do cloth and are duping robes how does that HURT the average player..... because those self same folk who are duping these things don't stop at just robes... they don't stop at hacking or exploiting to make "special" colored items and they don't just keep it to themselves......... Instead the fill vendor after vendor with illegal items getting rich off of folk who are foolish enough to pay rediculous prices for them all the while destroying the economy of the game to the point where the average player can't afford to buy anything of any real worth... and those who do get legitimate items can't sell them to make a dime cause the dupers undercut them......

thats what i don't understand, when the sigil exploit is done, everything on the paperdoll can be hued sigil purple. when ea finally made sigil items legal i never understood why people would singleout items like sigil shrouds and robes but never spellbooks, armor, weps, lanterns, sandles, ect.. when they deemed sigil hued item legal they meant sigil items, not all sigil item except for shrouds, robes, talismans, or whatever else. if its a legal item to begin with but is now sigil hued, it does not make it illegal.

To obtain this color from a normal dye tub open color chart, click on the second top color from the left, turn brightness hue all the way to light and there ya have it ... your very own, super duper, special sigil color dye tub ...

It helps to you know, actually research things before mindlessly paging GM's on people and then people wonder why GM's don't answer people anymore, which, btw everytime I page I DO get a GM because it's always on valid issues.

So the first thing you did was page on someone as opposed to trying to find out first if it is an exploit.

I myself have a Sigil Hued Spellbook, a few lanterns, and even 10+ Purple Legs of Llamb, which were highly illegal awhile back. The reason why most people have never seen "Sigil Dyed" Shrouds, is because Shrouds didn't exist back when the "Sigil Hue" bug did. What you're seeing, is a new exploit.

the sigil hue bug came around a second time when shrouds did exist, not too long ago either. so you're wrong.

that armour is from a bugged leather tub.
