I guess that means that all the duped Val hammers on Atlantic will be on a vendor near you sometime today...

So the game is screwed and people are happy... i'll never understand this games' playerbase. Angry when the devs do nothing, angry when the devs do what is asked of them, angry when nothing is done about cheaters, angry when something is done about them.

Character transfers being on during a dupe = very bad thing.

Great! Now I can bring my scattered shoppers home!

Just gotta get the characters ressed that I left in Etheral Fortress on Baja, Chessy and Pacific (got really bored waiting for transfers to work) get their tickets and Zoom back to Napa;)

Well since they never tell us anything about what they're doing or why, I just assume that if they're turning on transfers that transfers are no longer a problem. Easier to stay sane that way. I'm not willing to jump to conclusions without real information, rather than rumors and theries.

If Transfers are the cause of dupes as some suggest (others say they are just used to launder the ill gotten gains) then I hope they discontinue transfers all-together. That being said, I'm looking forward to getting the murchandise that I've bought on 3 differnt shards home. Oops just made another deal to buy items on Legends, so make that 4 shards once they receive my funds and I get the merchandise.

In the meantime, since I have no idea what the real story is, I have to trust the staff and developers to only turn on transfers if they have fixed whatever problem caused them to turn them off to start with.

If that makes me greedy or stupid ::shrugs:: "Then So Be IT!:next:

I figure they fixed it. *ducks*

Im for this though. Give us 30 days to reconcile. End Xshard forever.
Or actually limit it to 1 x30 days per account.

And set up systems to watch what we do.

Ah but that will never happen.

Right now there's thousands of dupes that can potentially be xsharded and scattered all over again, I seriously hope for the sake of UO that things get done today. With xfers up, the few people who remained vigilant in reporting dupes and duping methods are about ready to give up due to the futility of the situation.

I seriously hope the team knows what they are doing, for the sake of their own game and its community.

They take down transfers to fix a dupe three or four times a year. It's no more "fixed" now than it ever was, wait and see.

My guess is that they originally take xshare offline to prevent people from using newbie characters/transfer tokens and transfering 7 x 25k spring tickets across the shards.

Since now everyone trusts everyone else, and just go directly to nonplaying shards to swap tickets, there is no point to keep the transfer offline any more.

WHO the f**k would pay for xshard tokens for 2/300 k tickets to there home shard..they worth at best 100k reward for 3m...and thats at best!!!

IF u dont trust peeps to swop just a few mill gold ,one for one then god help u!!
