Mouse Hole Placement Bugged?

I have tried placing my new mouse hole everywhere inside my castle. All I ever see is a little black stick. I never try to put it on or near steps and I haven't tried putting it on the roof. What am I doing wrong? Or am I? Thanks in advance if you can help with this delima !

All you see is a small mouse hole.

I'm having trouble placing mine too. It either goes to far in front of the wall or behind it.

Try increasing your circle of trans. and targeting the tile thats kinda behind the wall.

Need to be in rat form too, then you walk up next to it, and youll get a message *squeak squeak* "it seems this mousehole is already occupied" and it drops you through to the floor below.

I would sure like to see one if anyone has a screenshot. Now I understand why there is no pic of one in the selection box at turnins. The mouse hole in Lord Britishs's castle takes up a whole square. I guess I expected it to look like that one. Mine is only a tiny little black stick on the seam of a square. Foolish me. Thanks for all the input.

Me to. I wanted a Mouse Hole for Mighty Mouse, but instead we got one for mini mouse.

Ok so I am stuck with the little black stick that hardly shows up for my 60K worth of points. I expected something round and I have to live with it now. So why doesn't mine squeek when I walk over it? Someone said I had to be in Rat form? Who has rat form? I don't. Do you?

Rat form is a ninjitsu animal form.
You can also be in slime form, which is a magery polymorph form.

A ninja bunny rabbit fits too. I'd been meaning to try the mage chicken, but someone on another thread said it doesn't work.

I kinda like the fact that it is this special thing that is hard to find. That appeals to me for some reason...
