There are 53 Valorite Hammers for sale in Luna on Atlantic... Meaning, the entire City...Sorry for the confusion.

The dupe IS back - not sure if it ever went away. The devs don't care. Its pretty simple.
If they spent as much time on fixing the old problems as they do trying to milk more cash from their customers they might actually have a solid player base.

I guess they finally got smart and stoped dupeing arties that can get deleted and duped something that you can use to make awsome stuff and i dont think can be tracked back to the duped hammer.

I really doubt it is back, being that character transfers are still down, probably just some duper sold his stock at the cheapest and 2 other guys bought some and sold for a mil or two higher, check the prices its either 17999999, 18000000 or 19000000. If this guy duped a book full of val hammer bods a few times there's gonna be alot for sale. Don't say nothing is being done to fix it, character transfers are down and I'm pretty sure the dupe is fixed, or at least just contained to atlantic

There was somebody on Atlantic whose name is similar to something you put on your lips when they're chapped (actual name will go unspoken due to forum rules) selling "Valorite Hammers" in the Britain Bank the other day. I partied them to see (A) how much they were charging, and (B) how many hammers they had. Immediately, before any words from this player were spoken, I was asked if I had ICQ. I said no and that I was simply curious as to how much they were charging and how many hammers they had. This player simply would not discuss anything in-game related to the hammers and insisted that I get ICQ and then get back to the player.
The party disbanded.
I paged a GM to check out the player's pack just in case since I'm getting disgusted with the illegal dupers in this game only discussing things on ICQ for obvious reasons. I wasn't informed of an outcome due to UO's ToS and haven't seen the player since.. but I have only been on Atlantic for about an hour since this incident. Who knows..

You sir havent been paying attention. There was a board member whom recently made the dupe public after giving the developers an ultimatum. I believe it was fix it in 24 hours or make it public. He indeed did post it in and in addition I can verify that it did work. Devs...one person owns all of these vendors. Thats one person is selling over 50 val hammers and 50 verite hammers. Want to know who it is devs? PM me.

This was just one of many dupes that currently work. Watch vendors closely over the next few weeks as some really good deals are forthcoming. I, just as the aforementioned poster, have had it with the non-responsive EAMythic representatives. I will be flooding the market with untraceable dupes and providing the methods on a new website to be published.
A few months ago a certain guild disbanded and formed an alliance of smaller guilds. The guildmaster started a post on their forum about how he is preoccupied with a mass banning. You can draw your own connection. Also, this guild (now guilds) contains members from an infamous guild that was banned several years ago.
I hope you've reported them already to JDalberg AT ea.com and UOBugs AT ea.com
Thank God, with out dupers we would have to do all the work ourselves.
This was reported over a month ago, by a poster who was banned from these boards. He turned in the bug and thought he would be rewarded, but instead they said "what bug???". So he made the dupe public.

Its more than obvious. They have branches on several shards but I guess they love crashing Atlantic (or at least trying)
This game has way to many mechanical errors to fix all the dupes. Im sure there are still well kept secret exploits. Im beginning to think this game needs an item ID tracker. Not to mention a more secure transfer service.

If I may say sir, the shorterm gain does not out due the long term damage to the game. In order to correct the flooded market the game would have to undergo changes similar to those with the advent of AoS. What I mean is that all items before AoS became primarily useless, which meant everyone had to adapt to the new system. To overcome such an issue as of the latest dupe we may well have to see another system overhaul. As of now these dupes have lead to rediculous suits with rediculous weapons.Thank God, with out dupers we would have to do all the work ourselves.
The developers could have indeed reverted the server after the publish, as they knew within 24 hours of the publish that a dupe was present. (not this publish...but last publish brought out the nasty dupe.) The ironic thing was that two bugs created over a period of three publishes were what caused the dupe to once again work. Two bugs created by *fixes* to the games mechanics...imagine that!
@kratos...with this last dupe they didnt even need to transfer between shards.

Now ATL has 50 ish...
Pacific had 1 last I checked.. The sad part is that I bet most of those hammers will simply get used to create uber items so that when a Dupe removal comes those uber items remain.. Lets just hope EA was on the ball enough to do some tracking with the people running those vendors... & hopefully not just the dummy accounts get the axe.

I have been running about 6 crafters on siege since bod came to Siege. I have bought several collections, been given a few, gotten some from IDOC. Since iron can't be bought on siger, I admit that I haven't cycled through turning in my iron singles. I'm not even close to a val hammer. I am 1 bod away from a verite tho. Val hammers are VERY hard to get and someone having 53 of them is very fishy.
The split was done months ago and was in the works before that.
The thread you speak off was posted 2 weeks ago. It was also made on a public forum.
Your reasoning is poor and your hypocrisy astounds me. You support and allow cheating in your own guild! Your rank of number 2 biggest guild in UO would drop severely if we banned cheaters.

Ok....so I was just standing around looking at those vendors and I see a guy run up and pull his vendor outside the house and load up 5 Val hammers....then he puts a check on the vendor and ask's me to buy it off for him?....this is getting rediculous.

It's a sad day for UO it seems. I guess even if they announced something totally new, I won't be coming back. Not to the mess that it is now. I'm sorry to say, but the only real way to fix the mess now is a complete reboot at this point.

This dupe has NOTHING to do with char transfers. You assume to much. Im certainly not going to tell you ths method, but lets say they are way off if that think that taking down char xfers will stop it. This one can dupe thigs exponentially. It horrible....its easy...it runining our game and the devs are busy playing games with stupid add ons and thigns they can sell.

Omnius, there are 4 Valorite Runic Hammers on Pacific in Luna. There are 10 Heartwood Runic Kits on Pacific in Luna.

well if you know what the dupe is why don't you email EA and tell them so they can fix it? i dunno why these dupers do this, they dont care about anything but themselves and will screw anyone over to make a quick buck its so dumb, everyone should care about the economy, its amazing how many sick people are out there
If you truly knew the method and sent it in, then it would have been fixed probably the day after you messaged them. So either you don't know the method or you didn't send it in.

Couldn't have anything to do with ATL having 5-6x more active players than all the other shards could it? Nah...must be a dupe.
I'm so sick of people thinking it has to be a dupe. Its simple really. ATL has more players so that goes to figure they have more BOD runners. Valorites became MUCH easier to get through the BOD system. That means they are slowly losing value which means people that were hording them are probably going to sell out while they can still get decent prices, and there are plenty of BOD runners still bringing in new hammers to boot.

The same people have a seemingly unlimited supply of Valorite hammers for sale. Plus there are the ones who are using the hammers instead of selling. It is impossible for this many hammers to exist. Players keep buying them to craft the new uber mage armor, so they are selling dozens per day. Hundreds per week.
Valorite Hammers were figured to spawn 2 per year when the system was originally introduced. Hundreds per week is definitely not intended.
