Ive noticed lately there are so many posts and "polls" that are just filled with dumb ideas and people complaining about nonsense. If you all spent less time in the message boards and more time learning to play the game you wouldnt have to cry about things being to hard. Stop trying to fix things that arent broken and do what the rest of us did and learn how to adapt to whats handed to you. If you dont like that then you can always cancel your account and go elsewhere. The game has already been made easier with the addition of tram , item insurance and MANY other nerfs along the way. So , to say it bluntly .......

I would say it as,

You can whine about the hand your dealt

OR

You can learn to play the hand your dealt to the best of your abilities.

I prefer the later to the former, but sadly The Real Wold does not take its queues from what I like.

The whiners are one of the sad aspects of what I have seen these last 5 months being back in UO.

Shouldn't you post a poll to see if everyone agrees with you? Sorry, I could resist, but I do agree that there are too many unnecessary polls. Hmmmm...does my agreement mean that I am casting a vote in an invisible poll

Once upon a time I could be assured that by coming to UO Stratics I could learn more about the game I love and posts talked about fun aspects of the game that were new or challenges that you could find..... Helpful hints and clues as well as great stories written by other players about in-game experiences... Upbeat and positive things... slowly but surely those posts have diminished more and more to few and far between. Now hidden among the vast number of complaints and calls for nerfs..... to the point that reading stratics now is an experience I hardly look forward to...... Anymore I attempt to weed through the BS to get to the few important or useful posts.....

I attempt to help others with as much advice and knowledge that I have to offer after my many years of experience but it gets harder all the time... Someone very wise once said that if you surround yourself with positive people you will have a positive outlook...... however surrounding yourself with depressive folk will suck the life right out of you...... It's true in many things...... If you spend all your time with folk who do not enjoy the game very quickly your enjoyment of the game will wane.....

I would rather surround myself with folk who love and enjoy UO as much as I do.

I agree , its just hard to help the helpless though. So many people just want things handed to them on a silver platter for free. I have worked very hard over the years to be where Im at and Im proud of my account. If it was all handed to me with no work , it wouldnt mean as much. I have no problem helping people when they start out by giving advice or some items to help get them on their way. Anyways , Im just gonne drop it because I could go on all day , and frankly I got some work to do in game.

Hey if they decided to pull the plug it would be no biggie , yes Im proud of my hard work but at the end of the day IT IS JUST A GAME.

I understand what your trying to say Az but keep in mind its just human nature, for some its far easier to complain about changes that to learn to adapt to them. All forums no matter what the topics they are about seem to be about half full of complaints.

Usually these complaints are about changes, things that should change or just peoples personal opinions /views about certain subjects and the debates caused by posting these opinions publicly. Many people like myself spend our time sifting through the posts looking for actual important information hidden in between.

Its nothing to really get frustrated about since people have a right to post their personal views and unfortunately most of the time they will be negative in essence.

Like any business knows when you give people a chance to give feedback in any means, most of the feedback will be negative since happy customers don’t take time to fill out / give feedback as much as unhappy customers do.
