hi i heard you can't use powder of fortification on Melissa's Cloak and i really think that is just wrong if that is true. this is an event item that you can only get once per character so there wont be too many of these in the game. if the rumor is true that we can't use powder of fortification on Melissa's Cloak please dev teams please consider letting us use powder of fortification on Melissa's Cloak thanks. i will make this a mutiple choice poll so please vote or comment thanks.

i absolutely 100 percent agree with you all weapons and armour should be fortifiable. if an expensive or rare item can't be fortified with powder and it has a durability then i won't use it and i am not the only one. why should we work hard to get an item that eventually will go poof once the durability wears off. even the super rich sellers should agree that all these items should be able to have there durability increased with fortification powder being that a lot of players will not buy an item that can't have the durability increased or fixed with fortification powder.

Clearly this (powerful) item wasn't meant to last forever by design. But even if it can only be repaired and not fortified it is going to last for months/year before it breaks! I say just remove the durability counter from the cloak all together! (Just about everyone in the game has a gm+ crafter now anyway.)

There's no "yes, but make more unfortifiable items" option.

Lore_Master how exactly did you have to work hard to get this cloak? All you had to do was go down the Melissa and gank it in 5 seconds with the other dozens of people there farming her.

A L O T OF EFFORT FOR THAT.

I don't see why they added durability to the cloak to begin with. Since we can't use PoF on it, I put mine in the house for storage.

Who cares? Why would I even use the cloak? Any well built suit won't need the fire resist, and I get 5 DCI from a Quiver of Infinity, so why again would I wear the cloak and worry about it's durability?:next:

I am a big proponent of Power of Fortification.

However, for an event item, such as Melissa's Cloak or The Redeemer?

It is arguable that they should be not subject to PoF.

The Virtue Artifacts should be PoF-able.

I can 100% understand why event items, though, aren't.

I'm not sure if there's an option in the poll for my position, but I'll look.

I think that every item in the game should be easy to keep and use with minimal risk of losing it... until high-end items become easier to obtain, or low-end items become much much closer to high-end items as far as usefulness.
