Ninjitsu NOT gaining?

So I was a BIT lazy and bought an advanced char token for ninjitsu to give to my doom thief later. Anyway... Been stuck at 85 for a day... havent moved at ALL.

It's been at 85 and hasnt moved. I'm beating on a horse I tamed and I'm not in a guild. I was mixing it up between Ki Attack and Death Strike, but still nothing.

Is there a trick that I'm missing? I can't find any info at all to give me an answer... HELP PLEASE!

I think the minimum skill for Death Strike is 85 though it gives practically no chance at gaining. Try putting on some Ninjitsu jewlery.

Other than that theres no reason you shouldn't be gaining... though it is sometimes the case that you can go for 4 hours with no gain... though as you've just used an advanced token you should have a lower GGS than a skill cap char.

Oh the only other thing is if you soulstoned it over already skills seem to not gain very well when you soulstone them. Usually seems to take 24 hours before it'll gain normally. (had a problem gaining med?!?! because of that once)

I jeweled it up to 94 for a brief point just to see if that would help, and I wasn't getting anything on that either.

But in regards to your going 4 hours with no gain... last night I went 8+ with no gain...

Gains are also slower the lower your cap, if you can find a 110 cheap it may help.

Okay I threw a 120 on there. My only concern is that I went last night with 8 hours and didnt gain anything. Doesn't that seem a little odd?

Like I'm just missing SOMETHING?

Hmm... I had a friend that was stuck in the 70 Range and dind't gain for a whole day while just Death striking something.... so he popped on some ninjitsu jewels to go over 80+ and starting ki attack and that took him to 100... Looks like you tried that though so not sure what else to suggest...

Yes that is probably the longest I've heard of going without gains. Had you soulstoned the skill? That usually seems to break gains for me.

Yeah it was pulled off a soulstone less than 24 hrs ago

I would say thats probably it then. I know it don't help you much but give it a day and try again and it should gain.

I feel you, i am currently 116.8 ninjitsu and I have been here a time or two under the same circumstances you are... Ninjitsu is just STUPIDLY slow right you cant even gain with out jewelry from 65 to 85 anymore.. I sat at 105 and several others for hours and hours before they finally moved.. It will again trust me.

You're probably going to think this is a crazy idea, but if you're desperate enough.

What's your stealth skill at? if it's reliant on items, take something off, if it's high anyway, wear some studded armour, then try shadow jumping. I gained ninja for ages simply training it with stealth and shadow jumping.

No, my stealth is.. 85. I just made this char to use an advanced token on, work Ninjitsu, and soulstone it to my doom thief.

But even to this point.. I have LITERALLY been DeathStriking nonstop since my last post - no gains.

Shadow jumping got me to low 90's. Have you died or tried crossing server lines? Skill pointed up? *thinking*

I've crossed server lines and died... BUT I tried to soulstone the skill this morning and I think I turned it down, but I don't think I turned the skill back up.

I just looked and the skill was turned down. I turned it back up and I already got a gain. I guess sometimes its the easy things that us geniuses overlook?

alrighty... since no one else wants to mention the obvious. check your skill points and make sure you haven't used all your points... 700 .. 720 whichever depends on your account age..

i've been workign ninja skills for a few days now off and on with absolutly no problems except when i ran out of points to use ... oppsie

lol. If you look at my post just before yours, it says I ended up getting it. I never turned the point thing back up after "trying" to soulstone it.
