I spoke with Jasper to assist in the investigation. Upon my first attempt to use forensic eval
I received the message "you must wait a few moments to use another skill".
I haven't used any skill yet. I then noticed I can't Med, In fact I can't use any time based skill at all. I've logged out and back in a few times. I have no macro's running. I'm Perplexed. I've played for many years and thought through many problems.
*I'm Stuck* Has anyone had this experience? If so how did solve it?

Felonious Monk i had this same prob on one of my char i put in a bug report and since this has now hit someone else i will reveal what i did

in KR if your crafting and you use med, hiding, or any other skill with a blue stone next to it while making xx number of items by way of the make max or make so many of this item option then the timer breaks and unfortunately i had to call a gm i got a response that the problem was not one they could fix and that i needed to contact someone else i contacted them and got a reply that they got my mail but that was it

i will admit this prob once done in KR also effects the same char in 2d but only the char that it was done on

i never did figure out how to fix it on my own and it wasn't until the last client update that my char started working correctly again

needless to say i don't use any skill while making scrolls or potions any more


sorry i couldn't give some info about how to fix this i hope some one else may have more info for you

Have'nt tried the ultimate sacrifice yet. I'll let you know how it works. it has worked wonders for many problems in the past....

Try using a crafting tool (e.g., a saw) to open a gump. Then close it with the Exit button. Wait a minute or two and then try using the skill that uses a timer.

The Greater Dragon was quite effecient. The Timer was however unphased.
Chr was still Borked.
Tina's advice Worked!
Burnttrees I strongly suggest you use a tinkers tool.
I made a spoon with 0 tink skill and could med rightaway after flamestriking a pack.

i had the same problem trying to cast spells the other day, logged out, closed UO and restarted, problem solved it'self.
