Yes, I refuse to use the KR client. It's gawd awful ugly, and I literally can't stand the avatar art with the grasshopper legs, T. Rex arms, and gray dingy sloppy look. Moving past that there's all the bugs. Then there's the Mods, downloaded from people you don't know, for that extra security squeek you always wanted on your computer.
Cogniac, screw you. I have a legitimate complaint and you don't have a place throwing insults at me for that.
No, I'm not going to learn to code just to play a game. No, I'm not going to spend all my time looking for every code advantage, every nook and cranny to get a leg up (presumably a very long KR 3D grasshopper leg) on other players.
What I most definitely do have a complaint about is that they have been supporting gold sellers and cheaters all along. Always claiming that they are doing something about it. Sometimes banning accounts (like that really hurts the farmers and cheaters). But always continuing the same system that makes it so easy for cheaters, as I already pointed out. The static spawns with known goodies. The heavy time requirements to get runics.
And now you want to convince me that this is all my fault for not knowing.
Bull****.
Why didn't they promote this KR looting feature?
Why didn't they add it to 2D?
And looking at it with some searches, it's not easy at all. This is a definite advantage for those who know lua or have the time to search and figure out how to apply what they find.
And it's not even about the KR looting features.
Now read this again:
"Finally, you can mod KR. So you could change object handles so you can right click close them as well. You could also filter out all object handles so only Melissa's object handle shows when you control shift. This also gave KR modders an advantage during the stranger looting since they could filter handles for the magical lockbox, crimson, taint etc."
It's all a bunch of bull, and you players defending it are no doubt the ones who are taking advantage of it, at the expense of all the rest of us.
Yes, it seems that UO has thrust a choice on me. That's the one thing I agree with here.
