I normally log in on my thief to check for morning artifacts, then on the gardener to check plants. What do you do first thing when logging in?

Morning, what the first thing you do when you log in?

Grab the first of the day's Bods on my crafters, then check my vendors to see what needs to be restocked.
My daily list of things to do in UO usually includes getting taming, lockpicking, tracking, hiding/stealthing, blacksmithing and tailoring gains, tending plants, and picking up BODs.

Depends a whole lot on what day it is..... and how much time I have... There is no routine for me usually...... If I have a lot of time I may start on account #1 and work every single char to get their GG of the day..... and proceed through all 8 accounts. If there is time...... Tamers I go tame 5 unicorns or Ki-rins turn them in to the zoo..... Leave the dexer on the account for last as that silly rule of timing out takes forever when you just want to bash something get a gain and move on rather annoying in my opinion.... I have a few characters I can "skip" as they are "complete" .... which is nice...... If I'm on call at work that's the day if I actually get time at home that I spend sorting out the junk I've brought home and putting it away where it needs to go..... sometimes I do repairs...
If I am waiting for friends to get online I might say take my favorite tamer and go work on training pets..... If I don't want to do that the boring way I'll go hunting in an anti-virtue dungeon in hopes of getting a 10th anni item or two..... and of late if I really want to give myself a workout I'll take my dexer to one of the town with the Vanguard and start killing .......
On very rare occasions I might take a character to Fel and see what's hanging out and looks like it needs killing.....
Or I might just get me a gold skull and run the doom circuit a few times and see if I can't maybe add another nice arti to my horde......
And if it's later in the evening you'll find me likely with my friends roleplaying.. where I just might be patroling a city, capturing an enemy, interogating a prisoner, spying on the enemy, at a High Council meeting or at the High Court.... I might be training young squires.... Or I might be defending from evil.... or perhaps I'm tending bar..... never know.
Certainly can bet I'm never really bored for long.

Right now my first hour of play time every morning is spent working taming till I get to 100. Once there not sure what i'll do for the first hour since will only work GGS gains on taming from 100 for awhile..

Unlike some of you I do not have 8 accounts, in fact I only have 2 characters (for the time being). Anyway, here is what I have been doing as of late:
Recall my Tamer Mage to his 'favorite taming location' and get his daily gains: Tame - Release - Slay - Recall. That takes care of that character (for now)!
Then I head out the door with my Bushy Archer and start plugging arrows into stuff until my eyes cannot stay open any longer.
Then I spend a couple hours dreaming about new templates and adventures to be had.

Once a day (meaning I log in several times a day) I go get my Tamers GGS.
Until recently, I would go scout Destard for what the current crop of Greater Dragons looked like.
Now, I am cycling up Rune Beetles, the current one has survived 121 match ups (means it has been the best) and I suspect I will do this maybe another 400 to 500 matches
before I concede this one is the best or in fact do get the best.
I bank about 100K for my efforts. I am about at the level of NOT gaining Fame.

The first thing I do in the morning is not UO related. That's because I go to work. rolleyes:
Get my bods. Refresh my boats and see if the vendors have anything good for sale that isn't way overpriced.

Get on crafters to get BOD's. Get on a red to scout spawns, if no one around, I get on a blue to time out counts and go do stuff irl and come back later.

Grab Bulk Orders; 2 x Tailor, 2 x Smith toss the duds on the floor.
GGS Bushido & Taming; both should be done by next month.
Check vendors; fill any obvious holes in my inventory.
Work virtues; usually just Sacrifice & Compassion.
Then I log out or bank-sit and leave my IM's on while I work, etc.

Well, I dont often login in the morning, my wife yells at me too much, heheheh.
When I do long in however....
...I usually do maintenance on my plants. This will change soon, as Im going to start growing them on a character, instead of on display.
I then usually recall to my favorite vendor houses, in search of rubble or just general bargains.
Recently Ive been doing a lot of hunting in the old legacy dungeons looking for Arti drops.

Boring but, Check every one of the 100 vendors, and restock
Then run round Vanguard spawns spots and fight any left overs
Then hop over to doom for an hour looting and grinding those arties
Its then 9am, I have my first coffee of the day and start to play......

Woohoo! I got my first ever barbed kit lbod yesterday!!!
I don't ever do any one particular thing when I log in. I usually have a list of things I'd like to do, such as train characters, or work quests, farm for fame and karam, or farm for pets. I guess though I'd say that morning when I log in is usually my best time to farm for pets - before the kiddies storm the shard and swoop down on my favourite hunting places.

Not sure there is a normally. I have way to many accounts and even more to many characters...so it depends on who I am at the moment. My most played tamer usually hits Cove to examine Dread Warhorses and/or kill Vanguards and their spawn. Or examines Greater Dragons in Destard...killing the weak while seeking the strong/exceptional to tame. Or doing the same with Hiryus, White Wyrms, Rune Beetles, Cu Sidhe's, Baked Kittens, Firesteeds, Nitemares etc. My other tamers get gains then rest.
My eldest character (Legendary Paladin/Armsman) usually goes hunting or continues decorating his home.
My Bard still gets gains, hunts, explores etc.
My scribbler...well he scribbles awhile then writes original stories in game. Sometimes he wanders Britannia scribing for folks in need.
My Paladin/Archer usually hunts somewhere or attends the BSR Tourney.
My crafter usually makes stuff either to go on my vendors or for bods or for gifts to others. Often my crafter will mount up on a blue beetle and travel to Towns & gathering spots and offer to craft or repair things for folks.
My Rogue...now that rascal is most likely following you even as we speak. He/she is seldom seen and almost never remembered by others..."hmmm, I thot sure I saw someone...or something...over there near that shadow...oh well, must have been these tired old eyes playing tricks on me again."
And of course if I logged off hastily...any of these may need to unload valuable keepables before rushing off to certain death somewhere...hehe.
I guess if there IS anything I consistently, NORMALLY do, it is HAVE FUN!!!
Now quit reading this and GO LOG ON!

Same here.
But when I do get home from work, if I get on UO, I will grab bods on mine and the wife's crafter chars, then I usually go kill the scripters at a few different spots I know they frequent (including the trog scripters).
From there it's off to check the pvp hot spots where I spend most of my time.

First I whack the pesky Mongbat that has been sitting on the frontsteps of my library, all night, making squeaky noises! I loot the 32 gp and go back inside to reload my quivers and cut some clean bandages.
Then I usually go to Frarc's place to pee in his fish tank and grab a Vacation Wafer -they actually taste good and can keep me going till lunch.
After this morning ritual, I'd go hunting or vendor browsing in Luna.
However, in the past few weeks I've been busy cleaning out my houses and donatet a lot of "sea loot" and whatnot to the Spring Cleaning thing. So if your water has seemed to be a bit clearer lately and it has been easier to keep the state strong, you now know why.
When the turn-in ends I'll probably return to my old habits, unless there'll be new things to explore/cities to defend.

LOL This makes me glad that the fish tank we have is in a private home far from my shop.
Lately the first thing I do is just to get BODs.
I used to also keep my compassion virtue up daily and get some GGS gains. Just BODs now.
