What is a fair turnin points to Gold ratio?

Just wondering if there is a general price for points for turnins yet.

So far I have observed anywhere from 100 gold per point to 79 gold per point...

Would like some input on the subject. To be honest it is not that hard to get points and I wonder why some people are still charging that high in point to gold ratio.

I will say that I have gotten almost everything I want (luck brace/ring set, full set of south facing virtue tiles, dragon head) without buying anything. Most of it has been from soloing vanguards. Some of it has come from items obtained via virtue artifacts. The only two things I possibly still want is the horse barding and the bee hive and I will most likely have the poits for them by the end of the week. Have to love soloing vanguards for 5000 points a peice (especially with how easily they die...unfortunately they aren't always up).

some of those people are people who make a living off the game and try to regulate how there market flows.

example the jewlry set , takes 300,000 points . @ 100 gold per = 30,000,000
definitly not worth 30 mil for a ring and brac.

5 mil tops is what i would pay for 300,000 points.

I would think 15 gold per point - same as the library and museum gold per point value. So, I would expect 300,000 points to have a gold value of 4,500,000 if I were to sell or buy any turn in rewards.

how mainy points for each level t-map ?? same t-maps that can be turned in at the library collection...

Treasure Map(Plainly, Expertly, and Adeptly Drawn)... 100pts
Cleverly Drawn Treasure Map.... 200pts
Deviously Drawn Treasure Map... 500pts
Ingeniously Drawn Treasure Map... 1,000pts

providing that list i got is correct in point values..

now here is what you get for the same t-maps at the library...

type/point value/gold value.. 1 point per 15 gold(per collection donation amount)
plainly... 5 points .. 75 gold
expertly... 8 points.. 120 gold
adaptly... 11 points.. 165 gold
cleverly... 14 points.. 210 gold
deviously... 17 points.. 255 gold
ingeniously... 20 points.. 300 gold

for one i want all my t-maps back i gave the library...

other than draconi who actually plays, he musta been on vacation when the values/items where implemented..

Yep, either maps should not have been included in the new turn in event or the turn in value should have been equal to the library turn in value.

They asked for a ratio of gold to points not for gold to become a turn in.

They were already dead. The majority of players could care less about the collections other than getting their items from them. I personally care about the zoo, but I could care less about the library or the museum. The biggest mistake they ever made is having the points decay AT ALL.

I agree on the point decay. It was neat seeing the exhibits at the museum, but they went away because it doesn't get any scripter love on my shard at least. The community collections are so painful to do. I turned in 3,000 spellbooks to the library for 30,000 points which I don't think can buy anything good. Since I made the books in hopes of getting a certain one, if it wasn't for UOAssist's help, I would have simply tossed them.

The current rate I'm seeing on Pac is 100-150gp per point. I've made a killing selling at 85-90.

so, are the prices going up on your shard? I have seen a few vendors today selling 5000 point tickets for a million! Sheesh!
