i assure you EA has no prob with it. i pay for my accounts and will use them as i wish. i guess the way there always seems to be an enemy spy running for TB commanding lord in the elections is totally fair? you guys did a pretty awesome job guarding against me today, but should relax a bit and play... not whine and nitpick.

btw, what programm you using and how does it work? the only one i could get to work was fraps recording the entire desktop. but with 1920x1200 that produced little freezes.

its the new cursor hax....actually its a setting on the recorder i was using. only could see it after the vids were made, i found i`t quite anoying though. i would have shot a vid of that, but by the time i got there the action was over.
the program is bsr recorder.

playing around with it right now, you dont notice anything while recording. very nice to set up too. only thing im having problem with is finding the good settings as far as fps, compression, quality etc go.

can you tell us what settings you used when you recorded that thing?

it was my first try too, but came out good quality. the only prob was when i converted it down from the original 900mb to like 50mb as a media player file it sucked so im redoing it now so you can read what i typed. my settings were default but def needs some tweaking.

If thats what you think sigils fights are then good for you- but I remember when k0c used to actively fight over sigils, that was the only time we had massive battles away from luna and guard zones. That alone was benefit enough for me. But I guess if you like house sitting then you can stay in luna all you want.

configure>about>troubleshooting....that should show you the best ways to set it up. however the quality of the vid on my comp seems vastly superior to the one on you tube. i think it converts it all stupid/// im messing around w/it now to see if another site will give better results. big prob i had was the compressor. seemed to lag the frame rate, but i set to full frames and converted to WMV later. took it down from 900+mb to like 150mb with good quality.

good call on post editing the vid to compress it... but be careful, dont forget you are recording and fill your drive up

I know how its done. I've seen it... and it is an exploit. That is not what e-fields were intended to do.

what a whiney little pancake....e-fields were the only way to get on top of your castle or keep for years, and ive never been sanctioned for it (even though im sure youve paged at least 100 times)and i been doin it since factions began. bottom line

hey now, what challenge would sigils be. jeremiah is by himself with no support and you guys do a horrible job defending yours as all you do is set traps up, put candalabras everywhere and have a few stealthers sitting around. not exactly that much of a challenge neither. and when we bother to storm your base, you usually just try to get away and never come back :/


but of course if you guys were actually looking for fights around sigils, we could set a time up and say for the next 1 or 2 hours, we going to fight over them, set rules of whats not allowed and then have a go.

dont worry, as long as you arent accessing any private locations, you are allowed to do that.

It is an exploit. Furthermore, in this particular case, it was cheating.

It is hard to describe every incident which might be considered an exploit. Because the game changes, and systems change, new exploits appear as old ones go away. Basically, an exploit is the ability to do anything in the game which you should not normally be able to do. For instance, if you aren't able to walk into a house with your character, but you discover a way for an animal to break in for you, you are obviously taking advantage of an exploit. It is obvious that thieving animals are not part of the game. It is obvious you should not be able to get into houses which have the door locked. If you find a loop hole which allows you to duplicate items or create more gold, this is also considered an exploit. Are you able to kill someone in a town who is not in a warring guild? This is an exploit as well. In each instance, the rules have obviously been broken and unusual gains have been made. Knowing what is an exploit is really a matter of knowing how the game works. Ignorance that you were using an exploit will not prevent removal from the game for committing such an exploit.

There are no stairs or teleporters to the roof of the SL base. The method he used to get there was indeed an exploit.

dont worry, as long as you arent accessing any private locations, you are allowed to do that.

i know i spent several weeks sending/recieving emails on exactly what i can do in there efields/blocking tiles etc.... i believe they were the ones paging about no clear path to get in the base last time, but they had those 1 tile wide choke points blocked off with like 50 items per tile. actually its the main thing they were paging about and here they are doing the exact same stuff.poor kitty cat musta rubbed her underside to hard against the sandbox. my advice is to not complain about stuff when if the situation were reversed youd do the exact same.

Bottome line... You can't win any other way.

If you insist on being vulger and spewing personal attacks, so be it. Beyond that, I blocked those entrances because you and EVERYONE else claimed it was legal. If you can completely block an entrance and that's a legal action, the same applies to me, so get stuffed.
