Some time ago (I believe before Wilki left), there was some talk about changes to the crafting system that were being "discussed".

Are there any updates for this? Even some spoilers, or a taste of what's to come? Some kind of hint? Maybe? Please?

I'm not referring to the BOD and Runic property changes. I am well aware of those.

Wilki was hinting at something much bigger than that before he left. I can't go back to the old posts and reference them, but I clearly remember them.

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner.

Basically, the change is this: Items will be destroyed again. Unfortunately, this would infuriate quite a few people who spent 6 months building the perfect suit only to see the first few pieces they acquired be destroyed just as they finished, forcing them to start over. Thus, the devs a.) decided to make artifacts feasible to acquire for average players (the changes to the Doom drop rate) and b.) are planning on making it so that you can craft items with customized sets of properties using a combination of runics and rare resources (increased runic BoD changes and resource randomization, respectively).

This is going to be one of the core systems in Stygian Abyss. Of course, the devs don't want this information to get out, so they will continue to use alternate board personas to discredit, disparage, and outright sully my reputation; labelling me a crackpot for my "crazy theory." Hell, they even knocked out the old forums because I mentioned this on there a few times! So, now that I've posted this here as well, expect these forums to go down any time now.
